Ok, I’m not the type of people who put review on everything I buy from Amazon. BUT, I had to share my experience with this product.Had a leak from one of the sinks upstairs, ceiling started sagging after a few days. Got a plumber out to fix the leak first. Waited for a month before tackling this eyesore.Cut the dry wall, placed a brace, then wen to HD to purchase few things for the repair, like 2x2 drywall, premixed patching putty, and few other popcorn ceiling texture products (which none worked)!!!I was very skeptical about this one… so I give it a try.. MAN THIS THING WORKS..just make sure you shake the remaining part of your life before using this. I’m serious .. shake the can for at least 2 minutes like there’s no tomorrow..Start with straight lines adjacent to the patch first then work your way to cover the whole thing. THEN ago back one more time and do it 90 degrees to the first pattern.Make sure you put safety glasses, and a tarp the floor as it will snow everywhere.Hope that will help someone!!!

Looks nothing like textured material and FOAM does not harden. Absolute waste of money. Comes out like shaving cream. Does not work at an angle when applying to ceilings. Toxic mess all around you if you try to spray. Even with tarp on the floor and other coverings, I am sure we are breathing this in and because it is in the kitchen, it is getting into our food supply somehow. Just prefer to get something that applies without being sprayed next time.

Prep work is instrumental when working with this product. Just like the can says, “ test on a surface first”. You need to get the distance right. I suggest starting off slow and getting the sweeping motion down.Total use of this product was less than 5 minutes.

This product works well to patch popcorn ceiling. Prep is key to the finished product's appearance. I'm giving it four stars because I had to buy a second can after my first can sat overnight after its first use and would no longer spray. However, still better than renting all the equipment to do it the hard way!

1. Shake this bottle well. Like over 10 minutes.2. Less is more.3. Wear a throw away rain poncho.4. Use a wet mop to clean walls, you'll need a pressure washer style shower that evening.5. Did I tell you to shake this product and keep shaking it.6. It actually fixed the look of the ceilings.

To my suprise this product worked great. They areas I needed patched were first scraped until it to effort to get more texture off. Then I lightly sanded the areas so that it could be primed. I used kilz indoor and outdoor primer. Then I waited 30 minutes . Shook the can for atleast a minute then pretty far away from the ceiling I sprayed in a fanning motion. Less is more. Couldn't be more pleased

Purchased 6 cans all together. Purchased from various retailers. Needed to use this many cans for a small patch because by the time you finish shaking the can, you then need to experiment on a scrap piece. This takes up at least half a can. Purchased 2 cans together, one worked, one did not and no one would give a refund on the defective can. Bought other 2 cans separately because by the time you get the texture and technique mastered, the can is empty. Pot luck on getting a can that works, and covers at least some of your spot.

I tried another kind of spray on a 3 x 2 ceiling patch. I scraped it back off the next day. I had used Homax Easy Patch Aerosol Ceiling Texture, Popcorn before and loved the way it looked. I could not find it at Lowes and Home Depot, so I tried a different kind [what a waste of time]. Homax Easy Patch Aerosol Ceiling Texture, Popcorn gave me the results I wanted.
