JOHNSONS 4FLEAS CAT - DUEL ACTION SPOT ON - +8 WEEKS ABOVE 4KG WEIGHT (X3 PACKS)

I switched to this after finding Frontline Plus no longer worked on the cat, she was leaving endless black flecks all over the place and after trying to the 4Fleas tablets, 10 dead fleas were found within an hour, it seems that fleas have adapted to Frontline's active ingredient of fipronil.Early indications, into the second treatment now with 4Fleas, appear to have this spot on treatment working, no scratching, no black flesks anywhere to be found. Touch wood these nasty little parasites are now in the past.

This is my first time using this brand of spot on treatment, straight away there's a much much less chemical smell than other brands, and I don't know if it's because of the weather being warm or not, but this spot on seemed to dry much quicker, with no sticky residue left behind. And just 3 hours in and there's much less scratching. So far no skin irritation like some others, easy to apply, seems to be performing much better than some of the more expensive brands, good value for money.

I use this on 2 cats and it's been very effective at helping to bring a flea problem under control. I had been using Frontline but it has become less successful at controlling the fleas, so it was time to try a different active ingredient. Both cats are fine with this brand, show no sign of skin problems after it's applied, and are soon back to normal activities. One cat is a formerly feral British Shorthair, the other is a Persian Ragdoll cross. So long as it continues to work well I'll keep using it.

Found this more effective than a leading brand that is more expensive than this brand

The cats did not like me putting the stuff on the back of their neck area. Tho l always show them the littke tubes first an to smell it when l took the top off it makes them feel at ease
