Tasty and fresh

I liked these cookies because they were fresh when they arrived. The cookie was fresh (not crumbly) and the custard was not dried out. I like them because I am not a fan of sugary cookies like my old favorites now taste of, e.g., Oreos and Lorna Doones. HOWEVER, they arrived wrapped in a piece of cardboard that was taped up on all sides. How they expected these cookies to travel and arrive intact is mind-boggling. No forethought involved so a number of cookies were broken. I find that unappealing. Having said that, the cookie itself was very good. I myself will have to really crave these to take a chance on ordering them again.UPDATE: 9/20/16 I'd written the company and received a positive and charming response stating their packing issue would be resolved. I believe their apology is heartfelt and sincere so I've updated my rating from a 4 to a 5 based on their response to my concerns,

This was my 4th order of these custard creams. I have tried others, but I keep going back to these as no others seem to compare in taste. Also this seller is the best. In my 4 orders, I have never had a broken cookie. This is quite a feat considering they come from the UK and knowing how packages are generally handled in transit. I most definitely recommend these and this seller. If you love custard creams, as i do, give them a try.

These were a big let down, not because they were not as advertised, but because the Marks and Spencer brand of these biscuits (cookies) are so much inferior to Crawford's custard creams, which you can pick up at your friendly neighborhood Publix in the international-foods area. I bought these to compare and had them shipped from the UK, but on the first bite it was immediately apparent that these lose the contest. The wafers have almost no flavor, and the cream in the middle is on the dry side and also less flavorful than it ought to be. Golden Oreos beat these hands down. If you're looking for proper British custard creams, get the Crawford brand.

My American husband loves these cookies. He rated them 4 simply because they are slightly thinner than Crawford’s. Taste was comparable.

Now I know why the Queen loved these. They are so good. A few were broken but they were still edible. Highly recommend

M&S quality is always reliable, just a bit expensive to eat these on a regular basis since they are mailed from the UK, but to eat these once every so often is a delight.

They were old!! Received with several broken as not packaged well!! A disappointment
