Ok, for years I have had terrible wireless at my workshop. I tried everything from a high end AP setup outside my house to expensive adapter's... This is the ultimate solution. I mounted one of these outside my house, one on my shed, setup an AP at the shed end and I am getting the full bandwidth my provider offers (200mbit/200mbit). Its essentially no different than my hardwired computers in my house...These things work great. Easy to setup and the best interface I have ever seen with a networking product. They even offer the ability to clone the setup, so if you ever need to replace one I can just restore the backup, plug the device in and I am back up and running.One issue I did have was their POE implementation did not work with my POE switch. Apparently its the IEEE802.3af alternative B and my switch is IEEE802.3af alternative A (I think this is the problem as I have multiple other POE devices AP's on the switch). I have read with some ethernet wire swapping I may be able to get it to work but the Ubiquiti gigabit ethernet adapter was only 12 dollars, so I went with that.One other note is that these are made to mount on a pole. For a few reasons, I did not want to do that. These devices appear to be new to the market and there were not many other options which I could find. I ended up purchasing a set of speaker mounts from Amazon and they worked out well. I sanded them a bit and painted them to match the Nanostations. The flat bracket is a bit small to cover the entire Nansotation mount but once zip tied it was rock solid. Cannot select US as an option. Cannot be used in the USA. This is an international greymarket version. Avoid if you are in the US.

Ubiquiti products deliver a lot of value, and the software just keeps getting better.For whatever reason, the two radios I got didn't work well at first - they kept associating and disassociating every 20 seconds or so. I upgraded the firmware to the recent stable release, no other config changes, and they started working great.You can flash them on the bench using iOS or Android before mounting them up, which is what I'd do next time.The only other thing to notice is that they only have 100bt ports. The radios are capable of more, but you aren't going to get more than 100FDX speeds no matter how good your RF link is.Overall a great value, great solution.

These work great, no issues at all...if you were outside of the United States. This unit is not for sale in the United States. You cannot setup and configure this as there is no United States option in the install. This is the cheaper version which is meant for Global use or anywhere outside of the United States.Have already reported to Amazon to stop allowing the sell of these on the US Amazon Website.

There is no option for "United States" in drop down menu. Could be an FCC compliance issue here. I attempted to update firmware but that made no change. In fact it won't update because it knowsI'm in the U.S. via my ISP address and therefor can't download the U.S. legal parameters. Now I willhave to reorder and go through the headache of resetting up and mounting new.

Love this product. Wifi is amazing

I have a 1000ft span from my house to the garage and no way to run a dedicated cable...I needed something better than the TPLink range extender i was using previously.My home theatre is in there with a bunch of hard wired consoles and a HTPC. So after adding this, all the hardware failures and random disconnects ended. I added in an accesspoint to get wifi on my wifi enabled devices and the rest of the stuff is on the switch hardwired.Honestly, at $50 for one / $100 for the pair, and $20 for the poe injector, this is a steal. Yes this is overkill for my needs, but id rather have more power than less.I regularly get better than 10/100 network speeds. Not quite AC spec, but good enough for streaming my 25gb video files and flac files from my server.REMEMBER, these DO NOT come with a POE INJECTOR.
