Q: Does it come with the stud on the back to hook up the wire?

No. You have to purchase those 3 studs and 4 nuts separately. Search for push rod extenders for a wiped out camshaft. They're on the same page.

BEWARE, it's not plug n play and some Wiring Instructions would be very helpful.

I purchased this to replace a stock alternator on my 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo. It was a set up that used a external regulator & 3 wire set up with a DN type connection at the alternator. This new alternator while they claim can be used as a 3 wire alternator isn't plug n play. First the new alternator comes with a SI type plug in connection & they don't provide a adaptor. Second, you'll have to unwire & bypass you current regulator otherwise you'll over charge your battery & fry some electrical components. Currently, I've figured out the wiring changes needed & the car's charging properly, BUT, now my stereo plays erratically. Volume goes up and down, in and out. In hindsight I'd rather have my sweet stereo over a chrome alternator, after all I spend more time driving than I do staring at my engine. UPDATE, tried to get assistance from the seller, a simple wiring diagram would have been helpful just to assure myself the wiring was correct. BUT there standard reply was contact Amazon Customer Service. Know what's wrong with America today? It's companies like this. They gladly take your money but fail to support you if you have a issue. Their responce of.....Kindly coordinate with Amazon customer support as mentioned any others within 30 days will be answered and resolved by the Amazon customer support team just doesn't make any sense. Amazon's customer support team doesn't know cars or alternators. They didn't make the alternator, they didn't design it & they didn't take my money & run. THANKS OEG Parts for nothing.
