Countablock (An Abrams Block Book) Board book – Illustrated, August 5, 2014

These books are the best car books. Our car looks like a library because of all of these books. They are small and easy to turn pages for our boys in car seats. They read them everyday.

My son loves his Counta Block book so much we needed to replace it!! Makes a great gift too!!

Such great quality. Pages are thick and very hard to damage - perfect for kids who tend to be a little rough on books. My kiddos LOVED all of these books, so much so that I have bought several for gifts over the years as well. Very nice quality board books, and much bigger and more educational than most.

My nephew could count to 100 by 3 because of this book. I'm excited for my daughter to learn.

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and it did help them learn to count and understand numbers. The only downside is that it is so chunky that the spine is easily cracked, but I consider it a must-have anyway!

What a fun way to learn to count! This book is great for early learners and beyond. It begins with easy numbers and then moves up for more advanced children. As a Kindergarten teacher, I can appreciate the value to children understanding numbers, their patterns and groupings. THIS IS A GREAT BOOK!!!!

WONDERFUL! I expected this just to be a counting book, but it is so much more! For example, when you see the number three there are three boxes and when you turn the page there are three forts/castles made from those boxes. In other words, whatever is on the front, like six balls of yarn, becomes something else when you turn the page, like 6 sweaters. You have everything from caterpillars turning into butterflies to snowmen melting into puddles. I found this very clever and very educational. It sets the book above others in the same category.My only cons are:- the book does not count up to TWENTY then go by tens. It is important for toddlers to see and read the words eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, and twenty... because THOSE WORDS are unique and no other numbers are like that. Skipping those numbers was an educational mistake.- I am concerned the cut outs will not last depending on how harsh your child is with the book. I could see it getting trashed in the classroom setting if students tend to not treat books nicely. my son is doing fine so far and he is 2 years old, but he tends to not hurt books because he loves them.
