Has good coverage in the house

I hate this router. Despite the high price, it's made like a budget router.There's no wall-mounting holes.It overheats sitting on top of my tv stand. This causes it to stop working. Sometimes it's obvious, and not even shown in the app. Other times, it looks like it's working, but it is either really slow, or not actually working.This causes all kinds of wifi problems in the house.I am unfortunately past the return time on it, though, so I'm left with just giving it a bad review.

I got a set of three mesh routers and found that I needed more ethernet ports so I bought this as my main base router and use the other three as satellites. I have a very old home with horsehair plaster as the walls and it is always been very difficult to get good signal.I vowed never to touch another Netgear piece of technology again and I'm so glad that I did because this is the best experience that I've ever had and easiest experience setting up whole home Wi-Fi ever.Within an hour I had everything set up and I'd already gone through all of the customization for security and browser router access.I know that ASUS can be expensive and I'm sure they have their issues with customer service but this was the least expensive solution for Wi-Fi 7. I have whole home Wi-Fi with four routers... under $500! Bet

Had a Verizon G3100 Router that was 6 years old. We started dropping calls in the house. We bought this router to replace it. Have had it 3 days and not a single dropped call. It was very easy to setup. So far so good….we are happy with it.

I like the speed but was hopping for more speed.

I was excited to try this device, but I was shocked to find out it only connects to Wi-Fi using WEP, an ancient and insecure security protocol. It connected my Brother BW laser printer with WEP was officially deprecated in 2004 because it can be cracked in minutes with free tools, leaving your network completely exposed to hackers.If you connect this device to your home Wi-Fi, you’re basically inviting cybercriminals to snoop on your data, steal sensitive information, and even access other devices on your network. Modern security standards like WPA2 or WPA3 exist for a reason—WEP is completely outdated and unsafe.Unless you enjoy putting your entire network at risk, stay far away from this product! Manufacturers should not be selling devices that still rely on insecure technology from two decades ago. Do not buy!

This modem is awesome. I’m so happy with it. This experience is amazing. Anybody who buy this will be happy no BS Wi-Fi seven.
