Winner, winner, chicken, dinner
If you are looking for a good huge book filed with tons of info…. This is not the book for you. But if you are looking great thought out book, this one is. Being a crocheter crossing over to the knitting dark side and eventually going Tunisian as well. I don’t want to be razzle dazzled with BS in a book so big i probably wont read half of. Too many bells and whistles to ME can be a bad thing. This book delivers….aaaand lets face it who doooooesnt like a book that’s spiral bound, come on now. Def aces in my opinion. nice addition to my little educational fun library

A Must Have!
I loved this book! I began learning how to knit 4 months ago and I wish I had this at the start! Better late than never! It’s helpful and meets my visual learner needs.

It's nice for beginners/young beginners.
For my granddaughter who is just starting out it's perfect but if you know a little bit of knitting your going to be board within a short amount of time.

GREAT is you "English" knit; totally useless if you knit "Continental (German)"
A very good book IF you don't knit and want to learn how using the most common style in the U.S. (English knit) Step-by-step instructions ...... which are totally useless if you knit in the Continental (also known as "German") system. I'm going to donate the book to a thrift store so someone can get some use from it. Disappointing but not surprising.

Spiral bound is nice for knitting
I like this book as it is spiral bound, has some good tips, I'm learning so it's nice to have the spiral bound to easily keep the book open and keep one's place. I haven't knitted too much yet but I like it very much

Basic and Helpful
I was starting on some knitting projects that were a little more complicated than my novice skills, so I just wanted something to reference that was easy to read, had pictures, and was knitting on the most basic level. This covered all of those bases. I reference it all the time as I'm working through a pattern.
