It’s so easy even a non-tech person can set it up!
this product is an absolute game changer if you have a proprietary vehicle software in your car! It was super simple to set up because all you had to do was plug it into the USB port it powered on and you just pair your phone with it!My wife’s car, which is where we put this, has CarPlay ability however, if she plugs her phone up to the USB port, it starts to drain her battery drastically because the phone is having to do all these different things, including maps. Since standard USB ports on cars do not provide enough watts for charging. It’s pretty bad on road trips. This fixes it with no problems. She can Bluetooth directly to the device (she has it plugged into a USB port in her middle console and it connects no problem) and this freeze up her ability to use the cigarette lighter port with a USB-C cord to charge your phone.Five stars for the durability the value for money, the speed and the size of the device. You cannot go wrong with this!!!

Best wireless CarPlay adapter.
I have one of these in two different vehicles. For the money, I think it is tough to beat for adding wireless CarPlay. That being said, I have issues with it connecting at times in my 2016 Chevy Silverado. But now that I have one in our 2019 Toyota Avalon, too, I am starting to think it is something with the Silverado radio. The one in the Avalon setup and works 99% of the time. Never had to fight to get it to load. Sometimes might take a bit longer, but it loads. And have even attached a second phone to it, in the same car. And at startup it will give you an option which phone it is connecting to. But you have to be watching for it as it will happen quick. The Silverado one works like 75% of the time. Sometimes takes a very long time to connect. Sometimes it connects and running as soon as vehicle starts. And sometimes no matter what I do: BlueTooth off/on, restart phone, unplug and plug unit back in, it just won't connect. Then the next time works just fine. But when the unit connects and working - in either vehicle - it works just as well as when phone plugged in for CarPlay or another car I have that has a Wireless CarPlay headunit in it. Everything just works right with CarPlay.

Device didn’t work after first setup
I bought the Carlinkit 5.0 thinking about one of the best device for wireless CarPlay but after the first use I don’t recommend to buy it. After the first setup was successful, I turn off my car and the next switch on the device don’t reconnnect anymore keeps blinking in blue or keep red and I need to select always forget device and do a factory reset to setup everything again but only works 1 time and the issue starts again, and the lag is noticeably during the use. I don’t recommend this product

Great but not perfect
So this works pretty good and is super easy to set up. I mean it took like no time at all. The quality seems pretty good. There is a noticeable lag so you should be aware of that. But if you’re only listening to it then you would never know. The quality sound seems good

5/5 ⭐️ and 👍 👍! Best unit tested! Seamless integration, easy to use, and a free management app!
Short answer: 5/5 ⭐️ and 👍 👍!I purchased this unit for use in a 2021 Lexus RC 350 equipped with a Mark Levinson stereo w/wired factory Android Auto (AA)/Apple Car Play (ACP) support, and a Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5g. I've used the phone with many other Bluetooth connections including a USA-Spec BT45 Bluetooth adapter in my 07 GS 350. The RC's AA/ACP works seamlessly with the S20 5+ using the wired connection.Pros:• The unit sets up easily (plug and play as promised) and paired seamlessly with my Samsung S20+ 5g.• Port connection vs. hard-wired USB cable allows the use of longer cable supporting more placement options.• It starts up quickly and within 15 seconds of engine start my playlist is playing.• Sound quality is equivalent to my Lexus factory Bluetooth connection.• Rapid response and full compatibility with my Lexus Touchscreen. ZERO lag and access to all sections of the screen.• Full preservation of existing screen function. No replaced menu items.• Flush USB C connection port allows the use of any compatible cable• AA *AND* ACP support• Manufacturer-provided management and configuration app• Updates in-place via mobile phone. Does not have to be removed from the vehicle.• Value – the most expensive unit but the best-running, fullest featured, and only one app-supported.Cons• Price - most expensive unit testedSummary:This is “The Keeper”. It works every bit as well as the Anyfar, and addresses both of the issues I had with it. It supports ACP, which was a requirement for me. It has a flush USB port which allows me to use any of my many USB A-USB C cables to stash the dongle in the dash near my phone mount for the shortest wireless connection path. I also really like the app. It supports basic configuration and performance functions and it gives you some visibility into what’s happening with the device. The ability to update-in-place is a nice touch. As noted above, I plan to place the device in-dash to preserve what little storage space Lexus gives us in the RC’s console. Update-in-place ensures I won’t have to go into the dash to perform updates. Finally, while ‘Price is a con’, value is a definite “Pro”. Application support isn’t free, and price is not advantage if it doesn’t meet your needs…..
