Hooked up my old PS4 controller to it via Bluetooth and it's awesome saves a lot of clutter. Only bad part was does not do the vibration or the feel but it does what I want it to do

Don't know if the minor lag is from this or because I didnt realize it on PS1 a long time ago but otherwise I like not being tethered to the console.

Purchased this for my PS2 so I could use a wireless PS5 controller. It was easy to pair and works perfect with no connection issues. Highly recommend.

I am a diehard ps2 player. Yes, i still play a couple of ps2 games and that cord just irritates me to no end especially since i have dogs. This is a game changer- I did have to update the firmware but once that was completed- I followed the instructions i found online and Bang- it works great. YOu wont be disappointed if you purchase this adapter. My adult son found out i got this for myself and he said he's coming to use my ps2 for one of his older games...lol

Makes playing the ps2 so much smoother then playing with og ps2 controllers

Update the firmware from the 8bitdo website if you're having problems with buttons, toggles, lag, etc. Did not work properly right out of the box (despite the update in the log being recent!), but after a firmware update, the PS5 controller works well on the PS2.Bought this for my mom for Christmas -who isn't tech or search engine savvy despite being a gamer- and the left toggle wouldn't let you move forward, the right toggle wouldn't let you look back, and there was a bit of lag between button presses. I had to go online to find the manual and set it up for her. She still asks for my help pairing it 😅 she'll have to learn by the time I move out! I occasionally have to unplug it and plug it back in to pair - not a big deal since it needs to be charged (it usually pairs on the first try though). But otherwise, it's great and a good buy and she's back to playing the OG Rarchet and Clank games!
