Very nice and affordable for just starting out.

I ordered these and 2 different brand mechanical keyboards on prime day. The caps went on the keyboard I received today that has red cherry style switches with no issue. I am a little unsure if I like the transparent base as of yet as this keyboard only has a soft pale blue north facing light under it.My RK should be here in the next few days and that is RGB, so I will be able to tell once I get that if the light bleed through the base of the caps is pleasing to me or not.The Good:The caps have a nice feel and the profile matches pretty good to the keyboard I bought that arrived in the same package. I have swapped out several keys so I can get a feel for everything. The printing looks solid, has crisp lines, and I love that you can play with how the keyboard looks with replacing caps completely, or just certain ones. They seem to be quality. This is my fist time using Dye sub caps, so I do not know what to expect for wear yet. This was a complete set that covers the 10 key and additional keys past a 60% board. They were in stock and no waiting for group buy headaches.Pretty inexpensive way to add some personalization to you bland desk. The bad:Not really a solid bad at this point, and I knew from the pictures/description that this was how they are, but I do not know if I will like the translucent base for my daily driver. It is not really a good or bad, more of, I do not know what I prefer yet.

Almost Perfect

Let's start with the good. Keycaps feel high quality. I love the SA profile and it's variants, especially when row 5 is unique and not the same shape as Row 4. It looks better and makes interacting with the top row more enjoyable. While most PBT keycaps have a bit of a grainy texture, these are very smooth. Since they're PBT I'm optimistic they'll be as oil resistant as the other PBT keycap sets I've used. The colorway is gorgeous and looks striking on my desk at work. Now for my gripes, which are really just picking nits but I have a very specific list of wants from a keycap set, and while I'm using these for now have already resumed searching for a set that has accent key options for the arrow keys, and a tactile bump on the cap like the F and J keys have. That is my first and biggest complaint about this set. But my request is hyper specific and not easy to find. I love the visual distinction of these accent arrow keys from the rest of the board. Especially with the numpad. Tactile bump would be more efficient as I type. Less looking at the keyboard.Second, the backslash key between the backspace and enter key should've had the darker option as I like those support keys to match, vs having the backslash key match the color of the regular letters and numbers as was included with the set. The reasoning here is that it adds visual separation from the numpad on this 96% layout. Finally, for some weird reason the manufacturer chose to have the Escape key use lower case letters "Esc" instead of "ESC" on its legend while every other key legend is all uppercase. I don't care if a manufacturer chooses upper or lower case but the choice should be consistent across all cap legends in the set.If the manufacturer released a v2 of this colorway fixing my gripes I'd buy it right now and it would get a 5/5 stars.

Usability

They are close together and I kept fumbling over the keys and hitting more then once. Took a while to get used to

Best keycaps I've had so far.

I've always been an adamant fan of the red samurai colourway, and I actually have a set of them on my first keyboard build which I made 3 years ago. I recently decided to create a new build, and after constantly getting recommended CSA/SA profile keycaps I decided to get these ones. So far I like them wayy more than my original, cherry profile keycaps. It could be argued that the colours look a tad bit more muted than my first set of red samurai keycaps, but the larger surface area of the keys has been a game-changer for me in terms of typing. I have relatively big hands, and so moving from cherry profile to CSA has really helped in increasing my typing speed (I was able to jump from my old max of 119 to 137 in under a week of me using it) and I derive most of the improvement to the change in keycaps. There's also the added bonus of CSA keycaps having a deeper thock sound compared to their cheery profile counterparts. All in all, I would hands down recommend these keycaps to anyone who feels like they're constantly accidentally hitting the wrong keys and or who really enjoy the red samurai colour scheme.
