Great Security Camera Without All the Hassel!
These cameras are great. Easy to set up and very reliable. They maintain their charge using the solar panel that is built in. You just have to make ensure you install them in an area where they'll get sun. Once they're properly installed and connected to your WIFI, they're worry free. The human detection vs motion detection is extremely useful because you can eliminate unnecessary notifications - especially if you need them pointed toward trees and bushes that move in the wind. They also utilize user-customizable detection zones that hone down undesired notifications even further. The picture is more than adequate - both night and day.

Incredible little camera
This camera is fantastic for the price. On sale for $65 was a deal. Very easy set up and the app was super easy. Live action viewing on the app and it has a built in alarm as well as being able to talk to the camera through the speakers if someone is at your door. For basic surveillance of your property this thing is great. The camera view was even wider than I expected. Built in solar feature is even better and no monthly subscription.

For a solor powered wireless camera it has work better than expected.
Have had this for almost 2 years, and it seems to be working fine. The only time that it struggled keeping the battery charged was during the middle of winter, when the days are short and the weather is very cold and overcast. Just powered it off for a short stretch to let the battery catch up.

Camera is good, solar panel is fair, app is hot garbage
Really the overall experience is only a 3.5 but not having to pay a monthly fee helps a bit and 2 cameras ready to go with no other purchase for $119 seemed like a steal. It's the awful app interaction with the cameras after setup that drags this. The connection setup to your account is great, could not be easier. Installation is likewise very simple, 2 screws and spin the unit on the mount and aim it.Charging. Unless you have direct ,and I do mean *direct*, sunlight, all day, you will be charging these but how often will vary. Seems like they should be able to go at least a month without charging in the shade so that's not horrible, if you have a shaded one you treat it as a regular battery camera. Plenty of modern solar panels can get some juice from ambient daylight so that seems like a miss considering how little power these need.Quality is just ok, 2k isn't really 2k if it's full of chunky compression artifacts. 15 FPS is barely adequate, I'd rather a clear lower def recording without artifacts at a higher frame rate any day. Cam makers are just in a bullet point war here, crystal clear 720p at 30fps is more than adequate to read things or identify a person while blurry, choppy, 15fps 4k is useless. But at $119 for 2 I'm fairly happy with the quality...once I download it so I can actually see something. The app is horrible. It downloads and signs up fine, it adds cameras quite easily too...but that is something you will do once or maybe a couple times if you add devices to the system. Setting up detection zones is also fairly easy, it often doesn't register where your finger is touching though and moves the whole field instead of moving a point. Getting it to connect to the cameras to update events takes a long time and is hit or miss, sometimes you'll get an alert of a recording but then get to the event screen and there is nothing there even after refreshing. Viewing videos is painful, touching the tiny icons to view full screen, play, pause or move the time slider is really hard to get right. Make these controls *MUCH* larger, they disappear after a second anyway so make it big enough to actually hit with a finger. I've just defaulted to downloading any event and then emailing it to my desktop computer because that inconvenience is faster and less awkward than trying to view on the phone when streamed from the camera. FWIW one camera is 10feet and one wall from my wifi station the other is literally 2.5 feet away, they show maximum signal always.Value - 5Picture quality - 3.5, clear 1080p 30fps would be way better than artifacty 2k 15fpsInstallation/setup - 5App- 13.6 average

Eufy’s “Security” System Is a Dangerous Joke. Weak Alarm, Misleading Info, and Useless Support
I spent over $400 on what I thought was a full Eufy home security setup. I bought the HomeBase 2, the 5-piece sensor kit, smart lock, doorbell camera, outdoor camera, chime, and more. I expected to feel safe in my home. Instead, I got a system that can barely be heard and a support team that doesn’t even understand how their own products work.Only the HomeBase 2 makes a sound when the alarm is triggered. None of the sensors, cameras, or other components ring. Just one small box with a 100 dB siren sitting upstairs next to my router. I live in a two-story home. One day the alarm rang for hours and I didn’t even notice. Neither did my neighbors. What kind of security system is that? When I contacted customer service, I explained everything clearly. I gave them the facts, the issue, and the exact solution. Their replies were insulting. They asked me if I had tried turning up the volume. I had. They told me to try different alarm tones. I had. They told me to move the HomeBase, even though I clearly said it had to stay next to the router. Then they told me to use my doorbell camera as a siren, which is connected to a chime and would go off with every passerby. It’s not even linked to the HomeBase alarms. That suggestion made no sense at all. Then came the most ridiculous part. They actually asked me if my house had walls. Yes, my house has walls. That’s how houses work. If your product can’t be heard through a wall, it’s not fit to be called a security system. It got worse. They asked if my motion sensors and entry sensors made noise. These devices do not emit sound. They never have. It’s shocking that their own support team doesn’t even know how their products function. That’s basic information and they clearly didn’t have it.They also told me Eufy doesn’t make a separate siren. I had to send them a link to their own siren listed on Amazon before they even acknowledged it existed. I asked for two of them to be sent to me as a fair resolution. After dodging the request with emotional reassurances and irrelevant replies, they just stopped responding. To make things even more frustrating, one of the cameras I bought wasn’t compatible with the system. I only found this out through trial and error, because the product description doesn’t mention it. Nowhere does it say it won’t work. That’s on them. There’s no actual customer service number. You’re left emailing support reps who don’t read your messages, don’t know the products, and give you useless copy-paste responses while stalling you into silence.I handed them the solution. I explained the problem from day one. I did all the work for them. The moment I had an airtight case and knocked down every excuse they had, they disappeared. If you want a system that’s reliable, loud, and backed by people who care about your safety, this isn’t it. The design is flawed, the listings are misleading, and the customer service will waste your time until you give up. I regret buying this. You will too.Update: After weeks of trying to work with Eufy support, I was offered a refund that doesn’t even cover the cost of fixing the problem. I asked for two sirens so the system could function properly, or a refund to cover the actual price. They refused both and closed the case. Since I pointed out the siren was on Amazon, it was suddenly removed and now only shows up on their website. I gave them every chance to resolve this and they chose not to. Think twice before trusting this system to protect your home.
