Fogruaden PBT Red Samurai Custom Keycaps, 160 Set, CSA Profile, Cherry Gateron MX Switches Mechanical Keyboard

The Arctic (CSA) keycaps are nice, with good colors and consistent printing (though the font is "old-school"). Everything seems consistently made, and there are enough extra options that you have some flexibility as far as how much color you want to introduce. I'm not too familiar with keycap profiles, but this one (CSA) is sculpted and fairly tall, and has tons of room for the fingertips. The space bar is a bit louder than the rest, but i don't know if that's typical and it doesn't bother me. They feel great to type on, and my WPM immediately jumped up by 10 compared to OEM and MOA profiles.

These were so cute and fun to use. Easy to pop into place on my existing hot swappable keyboard. Nice thocky sounds when typing. Definitely makes it fun while sitting in front of a computer doing tedious tasks. I wouldn't recommend it for an office setting though, might be a little loud for surrounding co-workers. I love the cute cat designs.

The oriental set is very pretty. The quality is good. Like the larger letters on the keys than the original black set I had. First time for me to change keys, and it was very simple to do. Started changing the old black keys out for these, then stopped. Kinda like the mixture of the two. The keys I haven't used yet, all look nice. My original black keys are very smooth. These new ones have a fine texture to them. Reason for a four star rating: The negative I have about this set is the Space Bar. It tends to stick. Every so often I need to pull up on it and then it works fine. Would rather have it perfect, but for me it's a small price for the look.

I nearly started writing this on my other board, then thought it would be silly NOT to write this review on the Blue Samurai keycaps, so I plugged in my wired Q2 with browns and now we're ready to go. These caps feel great to the touch, they're substantial and smooth, with clearly defined edges and delightful contour. Build quality for the price is excellent, all of the stems mated smoothly, I don't see any plastic casting issues, the colors are all uniform. The vintage font is a delightful touch, they're giving warm CRT Terminal vibes, they're giving Library.

These keycaps look great. The material is decently thick and the legends are fine if you don't scrutinize them. Honestly, you can't go wrong for sub-$40 keycaps.They're just not PBT. When they sounded extremely similar to a set of ABS keycaps that I had, I swabbed the inside of one of the keycaps with acetone, and the material melted. Acetone doesn't react with PBT, but ABS does.So if material doesn't matter, go for it. You won't be disappointed. But if you were looking for PBT, maybe look elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded. When I saw the word pudding, I thought literal pudding. My fault for being hungry. These keycaps are great and look very cool. The light from the board itself comes through and looks great going through the keycaps and is very aesthetically pleasing. I also love the design of these keycaps. All very good. I only have a 60% so I didn't need to use all of the keycaps, but I might be getting a larger one so keeping the other keycaps will be useful. I am very satisfied and would suggest these to others.

Yes, you can spend a fortune on keycaps from GMK or other exclusive vendors. But you don't have to do that to get great quality keycaps in an interesting profile with wide layout support. The 3 colors in this set are consistent and pleasant. The value for the money is fantastic here. CSA is a great all-around profile and is, in my opinion, underrepresented in the keyboard enthusiast community. Be careful of other sellers with this profile, as many of them offer sets that have a lower-case "k" in the words "CAPS LOCk". This set does not suffer from that problem. Pay close attention of that kind of thing may bother you, but this set from this seller was not a problem at all. Wide layout support, great colors, fantastic quality. Highly recommended.

These blank white caps are a true neutral white. No blue or green tint. Caps are thick and make a nice thocky sound when bottoming out. Swapped out the stock Wooting caps and it’s a big improvement. Currently running factory lubed WS Dash switches.
