Like for like replacement
Chose this as it looked most like the one I was replacing. Did the job, no leaks.

impossible to find in diy stores. good for older cisterns
had a right job finding this type of ring as diy stores only had the modern doughnut ring which was way too fat for an older cistern like mine. this worked a charm although it took us a few attempts to position it correctly. no more cistern leaks since fitted correctly!. and saved us a fortune as 2 plumbers recommended new cistern and bowl when all we really needed was this!. an absolute bargain!.

The bog doesn't leak now. What's not to like about that?

It works
Don't have an Armitage Shanks toilet but this worked. Gets 5 stars as neither Screwfix, Toolstation, B&Q or Wickes offer one !! Just over four pounds so not cheap maybe but still worth it. Decent quality.

OK, but…….
This doughnut washer does the job but is not ,judging by packaging, a "genuine" part.Rubber is quite heavy/stiff and will not compress down to the height of old, original washer. This meant cistern sitting approx. 10mm above previous height & if you don’t have a flexible feed [I didn’t} you will have to fit one or re do fixed pipe work.
