Soooo good!

I was very skeptical about this syrup after the negative reviews about it being thin, but I have a tip for you! I bought it to use as a dip for apple slices and it tastes really good with apples. I also put it in the fridge overnight and it thickened right up. I very happy and it's sugar free! :)

I was hoping to cut back on sugar without sacrificing my sweet tooth, but unfortunately, this syrup didn’t work for me. I’m not a big fan of sweeteners, and this one has a strong artificial aftertaste that I couldn’t get past. The caramel flavor itself is decent, but the lingering sweetness overpowers it. If you’re used to sugar substitutes, you might enjoy it, but if you’re sensitive to that distinct aftertaste, this may not be the best option.

So I read the negative reviews saying it was runny and it is. Maybe if I was putting in on icecream that would be a concern, maybe. I love chocolate and particularly chocolate milk, but I am on a restricted carbohydrate diet. It makes great chocolate milk! It's almost too sweet and chocolaty. I will have to learn to put less in. Here are my critiques and I am happy to live with all of them to have this product. 1) It is not as dark in milk as Hershey's syrup. That means I have to put less in to have the desired flavor and the color will be lighter. 2) It has a little artificial sweetner after taste, but I expect that. 3) look at the picture. It doesn't mix perfectly though pretty good. In fairness, my gripe with Hersey's is you can never get it all to mix off the bottom of the glass. This is way better than that. In fact I think the runny Consistency helps it devolve better.Next time I'll buy it in volume. Reviews are right, it doesn't taste as good as sugared syrups. It also isn't killing me with diabetes. Take your pick.

I have a recipe for making ice cream base that calls for light corn syrup. To make the ice cream sugar-free, I needed a syrup substitute and this does the trick. It's easier to pour than some other sugar-free syrups, yet not too thin. I sub the granulated sugar in my recipe with birch xylitol, and the ice cream is delicious and scoopable right out of the freezer. I've also used this Pyure syrup in a pecan pie recipe and it came out amazing.

Bought this to start eating healthier, but it’s super watery and doesn’t taste like caramel at all. Tastes like a cheap nasty pancake syrup.

The syrup tastes good and the price is reasonable. However, when I squeeze the syrup out of the dispenser, the syrup goes all over. When I set it in my fridge, it left a ring of syrup. When I tried to squeeze it into another container, it came out in all directions all over my counter.
