This item is easy to install for anyone who has installed a door handle and lock before. The instructions are clear. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS! If you want to add fingerprints, you'll need the instructions, unless you have a great memory.I read a lot of negatives about the battery life. That has not been my experience. I installed this 12/20/24 and it is currently 5/28/25 and I have not changed the batteries yet. Sometimes the unit miscellaneously beeps. It can because of a misread fingerprint or the door not being pulled closed all the way. I have even had some long tones which I thought indicated that the batteries needed to be changed but so far, they are still working very well. I used regular Duracell batteries.When unlocking, make sure you wait for the bolt to fully retract (green light will illuminate) or you can catch it while it is retracting and it will get stuck and then you are in trouble if you do not have the key. I recommend carrying the key with you just in case.Keep in mind that with this unit, you do not get a lock on the doorknob itself, just the deadbolt.I highly recommend this lock.

This is our third door lock from this brand. They are so easy to install within minutes we have a functionctional door that is secure but easy to program for family access. I love the thumb print reader as it allows each family member access without a code, this is great when your hands are full. The material is sturdy, nice color, the programming is straight forward and fast, and the quality as nice as name brands I bought previously for three times the cost. Highly recommend.

Install was easy, I’ve only had it on today and it’s been nice so far , but doesn’t give me the go ahead to determine battery life yet. My biggest complaint is the app ddlock. Very subpar app, I’ve followed the guide to a T reset it several times had Bluetooth on and cannot get it to pair for the life of me. I check the hand books the app and online material for refrence and nothing. I work in tech support so I’m usually pretty good with figuring these things out. The reason I bought the lock was to be able to monitor the device and integrate with my home assistant. If I can’t figure it out with support tomorrow I’ll be returning.Revised: after talking to support Aaron, he informed me that the deadbolt version that doesn’t mention “smart lock” in the name does not have app compatibility. He helped me process my refund and we are working on getting model that better suits my needs. Fantastic support, and because of him I adjusted the rating as it’s not necessarily the product or supports fault. Thank you again Aaron!

Key access, or code , finger print it’s great if you have kids or your hands full and the kids have a hard time opening the door for you when turning the key so the door combination is amazing love the peace of mind hearing it lock and unlock and it fits our door love the color

Works great on my new front door. I can’t talk about the actual install as the door company did that for us. I will say that the instructions for setting up the keyless entry is very easy. Good video provided along with a small manual with step by step instructions.

Excellent Quality and Extremely Easy To Install...Only had one small issue...Had to Enlarge the Dead Bolt Hole a fraction. Just used my dremel for about 10 seconds and it fit right in hole.Highly Recommend...Ps.. Instructions are Awesome and Extremely easy to understand!!
