Very rugid & protective.Only downside is that it will not accomodate a double plug-in dock, unless you get 2 x USB-C extension cables (10cm) or a single cable dock.It does have a gap at the bottom for a slot-down docking station. Elastic hand strap, no shoulder strap.

This case broke in less than a year, fell apart - the bit supposed to be protecting around the edges, the key protective bit. Apalling. Strongly suggest avoidance of this product.

This case comes in a resealable baggie and inside you’ll find the case which has a foam insert so the case keeps its shape. The case is designed to slip over your Surface Pro 9 from behind and it grips it snugly, keeping it in place.The back of the case is made from plastic and features a rubber strap which is used to make it easier to hold your tablet. It is a bit of a hassle to get it to open enough, for you to put your hand in, but once there, it grips your hand extremely well, so you don’t have to physically hold your tablet. The outer portion of the case is made from a half plastic, half rubber type material so it is firm enough to keep its shape but supple enough to be bent and stretched when stretching it over your device. There is a big cut out in the rear of the case which allows your stand to open and close fully so the case doesn’t compromise the original stand in any way.All of the cut outs are neatly cut with straight and curvy lines with a clean cut. They are in the perfect position, so the case doesn’t compromise any ports on your device. There is a rubber sling on the top right of the case which can be pulled over your type keyboard when it is in the closed position to keep it closed.A good case which offers great protection. It stands proud of the screen too so if you do drop your device, the screen will be protected if it falls on a flat surface and the durable rubber sides offer a cushioning protection when dropped on a corner or a side. There’s not a lot of material in this case but it offers all the protection that’s needed…
