Headlight Restoration Kit, Car Headlight Polish Repair Renovation Kit with 200ML Repair Liquid for Repair Headlight Yellowing, Haze, Oxidation, Scrashes

This was my first time doing this. I took my time and followed the process. Preparation & proper sanding is key. Taped around the headlights with wide painters tape to protect paint/chrome.Sanded each headlight six times with increasingly fine sandpaper and alternating direction each time. Use a spray bottle with water to spray the headlights before you start and during each sanding step.At the end of the sanding process the headlights were smooth and almost opaque. I found the heater cup and the solvent slow to heat before vapor/steam started gently puffing out. It did this intermittently rather than in a continuous flow but you hear a slight hissing as it does (which is helpful because the vapor was almost invisible). I was in a covered carport which was well ventilated so that may have impacted the vapor as it emerged. Applied the nozzle about 1/2 inch from the headlights. As it puffed, a small area of the sanded headlight immediately turned crystal clear. You just take time and work your way around the headlight as it puffs along slowly (the heater cup didn’t seem very powerful) until the headlight is complete. Don’t touch the headlight. Let the little puffs of heated solvent do their job and leave it alone for as long as you can.At the end, I am pleased with the results. The lights looked like new. (See before and after photos attached). They still had some abrasions from 18 years of use but you have to look closely to see them. The crystal clear headlights elevated the look as the truck is otherwise in good condition. I am giving the truck to a relative and I also just put on its new license plates so it’s good to go! 👍The only downside to the product is that other relatives are now asking me to do the headlights on their cars … so it looks like my weekends will be booked for the next while 🙈😂

This stuff works so flawlessly. You genuinely couldn't tell if I bought new headlight assemblies or if I repaired them. The process of sanding them down is a little bit scary but just trust the process and you won't regret it. Do it outside with low wind because it stinks and if the wind blows you'll be pretty much wasting it. I did two headlights and two fog lights and there's still so much product left in the container and I'm pretty confident I could do it at least three more cars. Headlights and fog lights and all. My headlights in fog lights look fantastic and has never been clearer. So far the quality of the repair has been long-lasting. I think that this is super cheap considering how well it does the job. However, the amount of time it takes to do it is a little bit long because you are hand sanding each headlight and fog light assembly with like 6 types of grit sandpaper so it's not a speedy process and it takes a little hot minute and your arms get tired. Other than that though I definitely recommend this 100,000%

I would give this 10 Stars if I could. I've used a bunch of different headlight restore kits and I've never had one this good. I didn't take a before picture, so the top pictures are after I sanded them down, but just know they were the typical yellow. I just followed the directions using the sandpaper in order, making sure all of the built up grime was gone. Then I put the liquid in the cup and let it heat up for a few minutes and then just started going back and forth a couple inches from the headlight and the bottom pictures are the result. Freaking amazing!

Really got rid of the cloudiness from my headlight. Only reason I gave it four stars is due to the shortness of the charger for the home and car. The cup must be connected the whole time for the vapor to work but the charger for the car was too short to reach the headlights.

I had a pair of 2010 Subaru Outback headlight assemblies just nasty and yellow.I did use a small 4" dia. air tool polisher through my grit choices. Went to 1500 grit in the final sanding and that was done by hand. All sanding done with water.A trick is, at the last couple of grits when you're sanding, is to rinse and dry off the surface. When it's dry, you can really see where you may have missed and correct it for that super smooth surface.The directions are a good laugh with the translation into English was not so great but, you will get the gist of what you need to do.I regret not taking video of this product in use! I was stunning to watch that smooth opaque plastic lens turn crystal clear!Put the liquid in the little steel cup, plug it in and wait for heat/vapor. I highly suggest safety glasses and rubber gloves. This stuff is dark blue and easy to splash. Watch a you tube video and be amazed.I was kind of bummed I don't have another set to do as this kit has quite a few uses left in it.

I don’t typically leave bad reviews on products but this freaking thing was absolut JUNK. I own a mobile detailing company and was looking for a new way to restore headlights. I spent 9 hours detailing a truck today. I went to use this pos at the end of the detail for a quick headlight restoration, after I sanded the headlights, I followed the instructions to a T, added the liquid to the cup, waited 10 minutes for it to heat up and attempt to gas the headlights, the problem was that nothing was coming out of the funnel on top of the cup, idk if they sent me a defective atomizer or what but I spent an hour trying to get it to work and It wouldn’t.So the customer has a beautiful polished ceramic coated truck with scratched up sanded headlights now. Don’t waste your money or time on this junk product.

I don’t usually do reviews. However, due to the price and effectiveness of this product I wanted to share my experience with it. When done, my Ridgeline headlights look like new. Yeah, the instructions aren’t the best but some mechanical ability should exist anyway before tackling this. Watch the over sanding; especially with the heavier grit. I started with 600, did most with 800. Then finished with 1200. Be sure to wipe down the lense after each sanding. A great product and price for sure.
