MSRHubba NX Super Light Single Tent

I used this tent on a 2 month cycle trip across the US and it was probably the best purchase I made from long a lot of kit.Some of the pros:- Very lightweight and packs down super small which means it fits in a pannier or backpack easily.- Quick to set-up once you get the hang of it.- Whilst snug inside you can sit up as it's relatively tall. And you get a nice bit of extra room with the porch.- As it's a dome tent it doesn't have to be pegged down, which is very handy if you're camping under a pavilion or just don't have the time / energy to peg it out properly (though wouldn't do that if it was windy).- Camouflaged colour is handy in case you need to 'stealth camp'. Remember where you put it up as it can be pretty hard to see!- Handy little vent on the opposite side of the porch (I didn't find until a few hundred miles into the trip).- Poles and pegs seem sturdy yet lightweight.Con- Only fault I could find was that it doesn't have a ground sheet for the porch area. But I just used a $1 cycle cover and stretched it over the area which did the job nicely.

Brilliant one man tent, lightweight, plenty of room for me, I’m 6ft tall and can sit up in it no problem, good size vestibule, buy the separate footprint too👍

I read loads of on-line reviews, all good and compared it with loads of alternatives. This one was my choice for the fact that it has a bit of height to enable me to get dressed and undressed easily. Some tents are so low it is impossible to sit up in them. There is adequate room to store your essentials inside the tent alongside your sleeping mat but having used it on a solo hiking trip where weight was a high priority I decided against the two man tent. Now, if I did want to introduce my wife to the joys of camping in the fresh air (not that she's keen on the idea) I would need to buy another tent. Perhaps the two man tent would enable me to get all my stuff inside even if my wife stays at home.

An absolutely great one man ultra-lightweight tent. Hugely versatile when combined with the footprint to offer spacious accommodation in hot weather or when used with the mesh inner in temperate locations. This is not a true 4 season tent as it would be too exposed for winter use. I recommend this tent to anyone with serious solo tenting aspirations. Go out and buy it.

Item was advertised as "new" not "used". The tent was torn. The pegs were damaged.

Couldn’t ask for a better tent

Im looking for hunting bows for a youth centre here in Glasgow Scotland. We are asking for donations of hunting equipment, clothing tents survival equipment. Excellent and lightweight and easy to put up in fine weather. Waterproof in a downpour. However, in strong wind I had a real problem. The single ridge support was unstable in a cross-wind (the wind swung round over-night), and the number of pegs doesn't seem adequate, allowing the fly to billow inward alarmingly. There do not seem to be enough points of support on the flysheet lengthwise to cope with a strong cross wind, and the edge of the fly does not reach to ground level.
