These buttons were used to make the safety net that covers the rear passenger seats of the Jeep Wrangler, wich is very useful thing when traveling in a jeep with the roof off. The net is made of nylon straps fastened together with snaps buttons. The buttons are strong enough to hold the net driving on the highway with high speed,, while still allowing for easy release. Buttons are very easy to put using a special crimper. The design of the buttons is well thought out, the pointed legs allow you to thread the button through the fabric with minimal damage, without tearing. Leg seals hold the button in place before being clamped with a crimper.Highly recommended!

With the fastener tool- this was very easy to use. Made hockey bracelet with hockey laces and used this as the snap. With the fastener tool it flattens out the point so that’s it’s sturdy and doesn’t come apart with opening and closing the bracelet. I’m not sure how well it would work without the tool tho.

I make Chemo Port Pillows for my local Cancer Center where I get my chemo. These snaps work great for attaching the pillows to seat belts instead of using hook and loop tape. Since I donate the pillows these snaps are much more cost effective. I will be ordering more. I currently have a large variety of colors from another company, I'm happy to know i have another source.

To small for my need

The instructions help determine how the snaps are installed, but do not give a clear method to secure the snap. I found that carefully melting the pointed insert (with a soldering iron) after installation locked it in place.
