Great value for the cost in a straightforward keyboard/case combination for iPad Mini.
This is exactly what I was hoping for. I've owned 4-5 different keyboard/protector cases for different iPad Minis, this unit is the sweet spot. Attractively priced, well put together device that works without glitches and has nothing extraneous. Extra bonus that the iPad unit can separate from the keyboard when needed. Initially worried about the lack of a backlight, I have not had any trouble finding the keys in low light, more-or-less where I expect them to be - unlike other models whose keyboard configurations are too small, cramped, or diminished by the frustratingly redundant inclusion of a trackpad - Well done.

No trackpad is a feature, not a flaw.
At first I was opting for a keyboard with a trackpad as I have used on full-sized tablets in the past. But I have also felt frustrated with these, often getting unpredictable results and dropped BT signals. Not so with this keyboard, and I appreciate the keys are somewhat larger and “taller” than most which for me makes typing more accurate. I have not fully tested the battery life but so far it seems sufficient. The build quality is good, weight low, thickness acceptable. I especially like the reversible magnetic screen-to-keyboard hinge that allows for convenient tablet use without the keyboard, and believe it will likely last longer than swivel hinges I have had trouble with in the past. For those not needing a trackpad for a the Mini, particularly at this price point, I highly recommend this keyboard.

Solid keyboard / case
The only downside of the case itself is that the cutout for the "touch ID" button doesn't feel large enough -- i.e., it interferes with smoothly ID'ing yourself. That said, the keys are nice and provide good feedback. The case itself appears to provide excellent protection for the iPad. The case comes apart which allows you to hold the iPad in one hand for portability.Unfortuantely, for those of us with larger hands, the very cramped keyboard restricts you to hunt-and-peck typing. This isn't a fault of the case itself though, but rather the form factor in which they're forced to work.

A case that does everything
Best iPad mini case ever. I needed a case that could do a bit of everything for work. It is so easy to use just pair with Bluetooth and type away, I didn’t even know you can separate the keyboard from the case until my girlfriend told me, that’s how strong the magnet i. It’s great it looks sleek. Very durable dropped it multiple times no with no major damage. And the keyboard size is perfect just what I was looking for a case that does everything. 100% recommend!

Odd keyboard layout, and hinge didn't last
Overall, this was a nice case in that it was a pretty rugged keyboard case for a reasonable price, and the keyboard's detachability was convenient as well. However, after a little more than a year of ownership, the case separates from the keyboard unintentionally almost every time I open it. I can't find anything broken, but something must have changed in order for it to start doing this; perhaps something in the hinge mechanism wore out and made it too stiff. Regardless, the thing flopping apart every time I open it is not convenient or helpful, so I've replaced it.

Great iPad Keyboard Case!
This keyboard case works perfectly, is just the right size, and is easy to use.

It's not Arteck's fault, but . . .
This is not really Arteck's fault. The old keyboard case for my mini-5 was barely big enough to type on. But the new mini 7 is slightly smaller, so the case and keyboard are necessarily smaller. I couldn't fit both my hands over the keyboard to touch type so I had to return it.
