Best pre workout I’ve had, clear ingredients and overall healthy, great sustained energy with no crash but the flavor is horrible it’s not sweet at all if you don’t mind that or adding some sweetener it’s totally worth it

I will break this down into three sections: Background/Physical Quality, Taste, and Perceived Workout-Benefit.Background/Quality:I decided to get a pre-workout because I really wanted to start exercising more but I've always had significant trouble motivating myself to go to the gym, and one of my biggest excuses was "I'm too tired"/"Ugh, I don't really feel like it right now, today was a long day". I figured if I forced energy into myself via pre-workout, I wouldn't have that excuse anymore. I chose Naked Energy's Unflavored pre-workout because it is only made up of 10 ingredients, all of them are natural, there is no sugar (gains-killer), and one serving is just under 5 grams (which I can drink with 8oz of water rather than getting a flavored one that's 16g per serving that I would need to drink 24 oz of water with, and which allows for me to pay $40 for 50 servings instead of $40 for 20 servings). When the product arrived, I was glad to see that there wasn't really much clumping and that the powder was pretty fine in terms of particle size. When I began using it I was disappointed by it's ability to dissolve in water, however I realized relatively soon after that I had just been too impatient with it. If you give it 30+ seconds of stirring, it will be almost completely dissolved, which is a huge plus.Taste:Bear in mind that supplements in general are not meant to be delicious. bearing that in mind, this is UNFLAVORED. that does not mean that it does not have any flavor, it means that they don't add anything to make it "yummy". It tastes AWFUL. It is one of the most alien and bitter tastes I've ever had. I started drinking it with a -take five sips without breathing, chase with water quickly, then repeat until gone- strategy. I mixed it with a cool raspberry-hibiscus tea and it was bearable. I went back to the five-sip method because I'm lazy and was able to manage. Read the next section to see why the taste didn't drop this product's stars.Perceived Workout Benefit:This stuff works. there is no doubt about it. it has become a staple of my morning routine. half an hour before I want to workout throw on workout clothes, I mix this with 8 oz of water, drink it quick (because again, the taste is atrocious), and watch an episode of the office for 20ish minutes while I let the pre-workout kick in. by the time the episode is over, I feel wide awake with clean and non-jittery energy, I can feel a light pins-and-needles tingle from the beta-alanine (which is bearable at 2g), and I actually look forward to doing my daily workout. I have never gone to the gym as consistently as I have with Naked Energy, and I've never woken up before my alarm and decided "you know what, I should go to the gym" and then feel like I could put in maximal effort at 5:30am until I started using Naked Energy. Plus, for 50 servings at $40, it's almost impossible to find a better option.TL;DR: Ignore the horrible taste, this stuff is awesome. Mix until clear and wait 20-30 min before starting exercise.

I found this product to give me the right amount of energy I needed before heading to the gym. Mixes into water well, the powder wasn’t clumpy or firm in the container like I’ve heard from other reviews. I would have given 5 stars, but the flavor and taste was just a bit chalkier/grittier than other preworkouts I’ve had. Similar taste to the chewable vitamin C supplements. Besides that, this is a great product!

I received this product as a gift to try, and I’m so glad I did. NAKED Fruit Punch Energy has completely replaced my old pre-workout. You can definitely feel the preworkout kick in, and it keeps you energized, but the taste of the fruit punch is pretty rough. I ended up having to mix it with other preworkout to drink it.

I'm using the stim free, when mixed with water (2 scoops) it barely has a taste. I didn't sip on it so I don't know what that would be like. I drank it after my coffee and 30 minutes before working out and it gave me a great boost. I had read that it can come as a block and mine did. I pressed a paring knife into it over and over until it was broken up into a powder again. I'm not sure why that can't be fixed, maybe its old stock.

Highly recommend! I’ve been trying to find something without the sucralose and dyes in it. Now it doesn’t taste great but it’s not HORRIBLE and I cannot stand the taste of any normal pre work outs so this is a win in my book. Give me all the energy I need for my workout or even cleaning the whole house LOL I recommend
