I was looking for a price friendly back button add-on for my DualSense, and I researched many companies like Battle beaver, Evil Controllers, and Scuf, I even looked to see if CollectiveMinds was making a StrikePack For PS5. I finally found eXtremeRate and HexGaming through YouTube, like what I saw, and looked up eXtremeRate Rise 4 on Amazon.If you don’t want to spend $200+ on a custom controller, and don’t mind doing the work yourself, this add-on is for you. It comes with the cables needed to hook it up to both first and second generation Dualsense controllers, you just have be patient and research which connectors to use, and which ones to cut off. If you cut the wrong ones you’ll be getting in touch with eXtremeRate for replacements.It comes with all of the necessary tools to be able to install it on your controller, and within 30 to 40 minutes you’ll be back up and dominating your favorite shooters without ever needing to move thumbs off the analog sticks except to press the touch pad, options button, create button, or D-pad. I have my eXtremeRate rise 4 mapped Circle, Square, Triangle, and Cross (X button)It also comes with the connected to be able to remap L3 and R3 to any of the 4 paddles, but that requires some soldering (pronounce saw-der-ing) work that won’t be necessary for most of the player base.It’s worth the money if you don’t want to sell a kidney for a custom.

I Literally will choose this company over ANY & all other gaming controller companies. I have a scuf controller and also have the dominator strike pack. Looking at my scuf while writing this review is disappointing because the quality of my scuf being 10X more expensive is literally made with poor quality cuts and doesn’t even look like it fits in some parts. But this company, I have bought multiple times from and each time they have delivered with exceptional precision on their quality. Their customer service is even more amazing. I called them about an issue with my first controller and they handled it within the first few minutes of talking with them. I have bought and recommended this product and company to my friends and family and I am welcome to reassure the Amazon customers like myself, that this is money well spent for any gamer out there. 5 Stars across the board for this one.

Not only did I waste money on this pos I also ruined a ps5 controller, just buy the already configured version off somewhere else that starts with an E. Trust me

Works better than the original paddle that didn't even last me three months

The paddles get loose and eventually stop working due to the part that holds the rod in place for the paddle snapping eventually. I am replacing this for the second time in 6 months the first one i had broke in a month this one lasted longer, still is way more convenient than a scuf, less cost and much faster to replace than waiting on scuf to take 4 months on a repair

Excellent alternative to getting a scuff or Dualsense edge

Everything works great and install was straightforward. The backshell doesn’t sit fully on the controller as the OEM does. The charging port barely fits and there’s a very noticeable gap along the bottom edge. Also, the provided connectors are labeled wrong. If you cut it based on their labels it will not fit properly. You need to line it up and use a combination of -010 and -020 to make it fit properly. Aside from that, everything works well however I personally wish there was some more resistance in the paddles as they press very easily (especially on accident). I’m happy with the purchase but am annoyed with the improper fitting.
