Popcorn Machine - Big Bambino Old-Fashioned Popper with 4-Ounce Kettle, Measuring Cups, Scoop, and Serving Cups by Great Northern Popcorn (Black)

Popcorn machine scored big in our home. The grandsons love to have us cook popcorn when they come over for sleep overs.

I bought this for my son's 15th birthday to add to his movie night theme.- easy to put the parts together- works perfectly- comes with measuring cup, measuring spoon and scoop- tastes just like movie popcorn ( we got spray butter and popcorn seasoning a movie theater uses.)- easy to cleanInitial assembly was fast and easy. All you have to do is add the cord, kernel hopper, lid and mixer. I had no problem doing this. The instructions were very easy to follow.We have made about 6 batches of popcorn with no burning issues, no staining of the sides. I'm guessing people who have had staining issues haven't read the directions that tell you to clean the machine after use. I can see burning being an issue if someone is lax with cleaning it.Popping was fun. It takes a few minutes for it to heat enough to get the oil hot. Once popping starts it is only a minute or so more depending on how much you're popping.We popped 1 cup and it feeds 4 adults which is the equivalent of about a small popcorn at a theater each.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. I will update this post in another month or so to let everyone know how it is holding up.I do suggest this purchase, it has been a great addition to our movie night and was great for my son's birthday.Update: We have had this for 6 months and it works just as well as the day we bought it. We have used this machine sometimes a few times a week, to a few times a month. We have kept up with cleaning the machine and it has not had any burning issues. The plexiglass sides have not burnt and are still just as clear.I am still very pleased with this purchase and recommend this popcorn machine highly!

This has been fun to have for movie night. As long as you put 1/2 cup or less corn in it, it works well. It is very difficult to clean. Also the magnetic door doesn’t always stay closed and popcorn can sometimes end up on the floor. This also happens opening the door. The popcorn seems to pile up at the door and when you open the door the popcorn falls out. We do like it. Make sure you have room for this thing. It takes up space.Update 2/10/25. The teflon in the popping pan has been scraping off from the stirring mechanism. Since teflon is a known carcinogen we won’t be using this product anymore. It’s unfortunate that this occurred after the 30 day return window. Seller, would you honor this under warranty ?Update 2/18/25 I had to contact amazon customer service to assist with the return authorization. Despite my making every effort to comply the company charged me $12.26 for a damage fee. Keep in mind that the reason for the return was because I of a defect in the teflon coating that was not the fault of the purchaser. Don’t buy from this seller! Or this manufacturer. If I could give it negative stars I would.

The door doesn't latch to the magnet well, you have to place an object in front of the door to keep the door from flinging open while in operation. The base is too short so when you open the door you will lose some popcorn, and yes we use the recommended amount of popcorn.

We enjoyed our first Big Bambino Popcorn Popper so much that we wore it out and ordered a second one. It is so easy to use and to clean and it makes the perfect batch of popcorn. We order our popcorn, oil, and salt from Amazon as well. The combination makes for incredible tasting popcorn each time we pop up a batch.

Bought this for my Daughter in law just for fun, grandkids loves it.Works great, easy to clean, fun to watch.
