Q: Wow. That's a horrible demonstration video. The shoe with the insert looks like it still flexes as much as the shoe without it. What am i missing?

There is definitely more resistance to bending in the shoe with the insert, but it’s not completely inflexible. I ended up returning mine because they caused my legs to hurt all the way up to my knees when playing pickleball. I was really hoping hoping they would work as I haven’t been able to find any shoes or inserts that limit the bend in my shoes, which I need for arthritis in my feet.

Q: Can this insoles help with heat? On hot surfaces

They are thin but very stiff. Don't think they would help with the heat.
