KJV Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible (Imitation Leather, Black, Red Letter)

This is one the very first bibles I bought for myself and I think the overall quality of the bible itself is AWESOME for the price! The print size of the bible is great and my do not have to strain to keep track of where I am within the paragraphs. The translation is KJV, which is what I was looking for and I used it to compare with other versions I own. The print is very easy and inviting to read, and the page layout is not crammed. The words of Christ are a nice red and the verses include great cross references for easy "chain references". The index, concordance, and maps in the back are , handy during the times I was at church or Wednesday bible study (so it does it's job). I don't think it's supposed to be exhaustive because the bible would be too big and heavy to carry around, or font size would have to be smaller to make it more compact. I wasn't willing to compromise on overall size and font. I needed something that I could carry and actually see without straining my eyes. The size of the bible is good and is pretty much the standard size of bibles I've bought, but I wouldn't say it is trim. The cover is very soft and flexible, and the bible did lay flat when I opened it. The color of the bible is so pretty and brightened up my day! The paper is not quite opaque and I did have some bleed through when I wrote in the margins and highlighted passages. Possibly, it was the pens, pencils and highlighters I used. Overall, very lovely bible. So lovely, I ended giving it to my sister and her brother-in-law commented on how nice her bible is! I would definitely buy another Hendrickson Bible as a gift or personal use!

Beautiful brown leather and the font size is PERFECT!

KJV is a beautiful translation, although this Giant print is smaller than NIV Zondervan giant print and pages/ cover are flimsier as well, but for its lower cost ($9.99+tax), this is a great carry-on (even with color maps in the end).

I ordered this bible because I needed a second bible, one that I could have for church. I absolutely love this bible. I have a study bible but I needed and wanted a smaller one for everyday reading. This one is just perfect. It is large print so it is easy to see and read. It has full color maps. The words of Christ are in red. It has a ribbon for a marker. Also the pages are not thin so it does bleed through onto the next page. The bible is just beautiful. The color is a beautiful lavender color. It is made of leather. It is the King James Version. Is is a personal size bible but the perfect size for me. I am not a fan of the hard back bibles myself. I ordered the bibles tabs to go with this bible and they are perfect for it. You just can't beat the price for this bible. It's a great quality and great price. I have looked at prices of bibles and it is just crazy how much they cost. I am a Mom of 2 kids and I just can't spend $100 for a bible. But I also don't want a junk of one either. So I was happy to score a beautiful and durable bible for a great price. The KJV Personal Size Giant Print Reference Bible in Black and Tan is very good looking. The Flexisoft Imitation Leather Cover feels wonderful in my hand. I like it a lot more than bonded leather (it seem to last longer and will not flakes and peel like bonded leather does). I am sure real leather would last longer but this bible will last as long as I do and was only $10.69 including tax and shipping.The print is 11.25 point which is a Medium font, but very large for a bible. I can read it very easily with just my reading glasses. Bibles I got when I was young I have to use my reading glasses and a magnifying glass.Best of all I do not get a headache trying to read it. Even though it has gone up from $9.99 to $15.99 I still think it is worth the price.

This is a nice bible for the price. Ghosting is there but it doesn’t bother me. Love the size it’s just perfect for me and the font size is great also. I’d buy it again or for a gift for someone. Words in Christ in red. Really nice.

I saw favorable reviews and thought for the price low risk. I was however pleasantly surprised with just how nice this edition is. It has a very good concordance, a harmony of the Gospels, and list parables and miracles. Also has extensive cross references. There is very slight bleed through on the pages, but I extremely impressed with this Bible and use it much. This would be an excellent gift. It has excellent features and looks high end, but should be affordable for most.
