bang for the buck
I’ve been using the Cosmic Byte Firefly CB-GK-16 (Blue switch variant) for about 2 months now. Honestly, I didn’t expect this level of quality for the price. The build feels sturdy, with a metal top plate that gives it some good weight doesn’t slide around. The switches are Outemu Blues, so yeah, they’re clicky and loud. If you’re into that tactile typing feel, you’ll love it. Typing feels satisfying, and key response is crisp. Definitely not silent though, so maybe not the best for shared rooms or late-night use unless your roommates are cool with it.The RGB lighting is bright and clean. Tons of modes to cycle through using the keyboard shortcuts, even if the software isn't the most polished. It’s tenkeyless, which is perfect for my setup. Saves space without sacrificing comfort or usability. I use it for both work and gaming (Valorant, Apex), and it holds up really well. Nothing has gone wrong till this dayCouple of small things:The keycaps are decent, but don’t expect premium material. They're fine for daily use though.Blue switches are loud not a downside for me, but something to be aware of.

Try Your Luck
The product is awesome for this price but there's a catch. I've brought the GK-18 and I don't know whether this problem is exclusive to this particular product, anyway let me say that the quality control or quality checking is bad, I mean really bad, I had to replace or reorder the product 4 times to get the desired results. At first, the spacebar was crooked and one side of it was really stiff and it was not at all straight or parallel with the horizontal, it was higher on one side (the side which was stiff) and lower on the other, So I've decided to request for a replacement and the second replacement arrived with more features, they put keycaps which had purple shine-through cut-out instead of the white or transparent one and it looked really bad, the light was really uneven and the etching was really bad that they looked they melted during the etching. I think amazon only allows return after two replacements so I had to return the keyboard and buy the keyboard again because there weren't any issues with the switches or the functionality of the keyboard and 3rd replacement arrived, Guess what there were issues with some of the switches, Yep Some of the switches made springy ting noise when bottomed out and felt really scratchy so I've sent a mail with a video regarding this issue and they told me that the sound is common throughout all the keyboards, So again I've decided to request for another replacement and the one I have right now is perfect with no purple tint, no scratchiness on the switch or no crooked keys. So yeah, Finally my soul is content. Conclusion: The keyboard is awesome. For this price, you won't get anything much better than this but it all depends upon your luck. Either you will get a keyboard with no defects or you know... [Life itself is a gamble} You might need to lube the stabilizers in order to minimize the rattle from the bigger keys but at this price that is not even an issue. So if your budget is under 2.5k and you want a mechanical keyboard just go for it.

Very good quality mechanical keyboard for the price
The Cosmic Byte Firefly is a very good keyboard indeed.Pros-*Build quality- It is a very solid and well built device with the top part in steel and the bottom part in plastic. It is pretty heavy but it is a mechanical keyboard so no surprises there.*Accuracy- The keyboard is very accurate for typing.*RGB-RGB is definitely very good. It has a selection of many single colors and mixed ones too.*Hot-swappable keys- The keyboard has hot swappable keys which means that the switch itself can be replaced with other Outemu switches. I'm not sure if other brands switches can be used.Cons-*Typing sound- If you are going to buy this keyboard and type a lot, do not buy the blue switch version. I really underestimated the sounds of the blue switch. It sounds like an actual typewriter. It is pretty much annoying as it is making too much noise. The red switch version can be better if you type a lot as it is more quiet. Also, other people may find it disturbing. So buy blue switches only if you have a separate room.*Dedicated Caps lock indicator-It actually does Caps lock and scroll lock indicators in the keys itself, but it is not visible if the RGB color is white as the indicator colors are also white which can be confusing. So I would suggest Cosmic Byte to put dedicated Caps lock and Scroll lock indicators.*Portability- The keyboard is huge and heavy which makes it pretty hard to carry it around. The packaging they sent the keyboard in was very good. It came in a cardboard box inside a sealed bag.Overall a very good keyboard for 2000-2500₹.

Best Mechanical Keyboard at this segment. But needs better switch options.
The media could not be loaded. This feels so good. I might try to mod it in the long run, replacing the switches and the key caps and also try lubing or filling up the housing with foam or silicone. But considering the weight, it might be already filled up. I am so glad this keyboard did not have the 'switch to GOD MODE' on the spacebar, like the others from this company have. It looks so tacky and weird. The RGB functions are quite good allowing for per key illumination and colouring, although they could have used some brighter LEDs for it and the keys look dull without the brightness set to max. I might try fixing some pudding style keycaps for better illumination. Overall this keyboard is the best for the price, with future upgrades via hot swappable keys sealing the deal.
