These Joy Con shells are excellent. My old joy cons were fully working but the shells had worn badly and when attached to my switch would wobble around. These new shells have completely fixed this. Usually any aftermarket customisations are a bit poor and don’t quite fit right, not the case with this shell. It fits excellently and you would believe they are new straight out of the Nintendo factory. You do need to know what you are doing before taking the Joy Cons apart so make sure you watch a youtube tutorial if you are unsure about what you are doing. Very pleased

Excellent quality and easy to change shells!

The kit includes everything you need to do a replacement, the included driver is good enough if you don't have anything else but isnt magnetised and the bits fall out if you turn it upside down.The shell itself is good quality, the plastic is smooth to the touch and well machined. Screws were included (several more than necessary, especially considering the joycon you're replacing the shell of should have screws you could reuse).One thing I felt the kit was missing was SL/SR buttons, none are included so you have to make do with what you have. It's not a big issue though, especially if you mostly use your joycons in a grip like I do.

The shell is really nice to look at; the coloured buttons and d-pad remind me of my old SNES, and the materials are great quality. Unfortunately, the front and back pieces don't align perfectly when screwed together, leaving a sharp edge that's uncomfortable to hold.

I've completed one conversion and it looks very cool and unique.HOWEVER.If anything goes wrong during the process you will end up kicking yourself. I accidentally broke one of the wires despite being quite careful. It also takes hours of time to do.I would say because of how much effort is involved, potential for things to break, based on my experience AVOID.

Works and looks great - it was a stressful process mostly due to the tools provided. I highly recommend purchasing separate screwdrivers and preferably tweezers too. They stripped a few screws very easily and then the Y00 screwdriver broke. This meant the first one took 4 days and the second one (after getting tools) took 20 minutes. Just find a good video and it'll go well - I had no prior experience with this and am so comfortable with it now I've purchased another set.

comes with all the parts but the assembly parts annoying for someone how doesn't do it regularly

Product worked great. Love the feel and quality of the joycon housings. The driver thst comes with the set got all my screws out without stripping a single one. The only extra room you would need for sure is the tweezers. I used the tools shown in my pics. With them tools any problem I ran into I wad able to handle. Long as you don't rush trying to put them together. And keep all your screws that you take out laid out neatly anyone should be able to handle this joycon mod. Don't let other reviews scare you into spending extra on tools you don't need. Just get some tweezers and you should be golden. I would definitely buy these again. And man do the arrow pad work and feel so much better than the oem buttons. I couldn't use my joycons again without having this d pad. And this is coming from someone thst have bought plenty of extra 3rd party joycons/ pads with d pads on them. Nothing compare to the one on these. Now this company just need to make the emplacement casing for the oled version of the TV/ charging stand and I will be set. Thank you!

Como siempre para cambiar este tipo de carcasa requiere tener habilidad.Quedan perfectos, yo no uso tanto ese mando, fue más por decoración, pero parece que si sudas mucho que te puedas comer un poco la pitura.

Var lite krux med att ta isär och sätta ihop då den medföljande skruvmejseln inte riktigt gillade nintendos skruvar. och instruktionen var lite otydlig med trigger knapparna. Men allt kom ihop suveränt i slutändan.Riktigt nöjd.

Ce commentaire concerne les coques eXtremeRate type Snes classiccoque de très bonne qualité et solide fourni avec les vis et ressort (bouton)!!ATTENTION!! pour le montage, il faut s'y connaitre un minimumet êtres très méticuleux et patient,car le remplacement se fait en démontant la totalité de la manette (joycon)donc les différentes petite nappe clipsée devront être enlevés à la pince de précision ou pince épilée et pour le reste, il s'agira de dévisser puis revisser les vis d'origine ou fourni dans le kitpour les 2 joycons, j'ai mis 2h/3h (vu mon niveau de patience)pour ma part, j'en ai profité pour changer également les joystik par des gulikit anti drift et le loqué en plastique par un en métal pour éviter qu'avec le temps les joycons se détache de l'écransi vous recherchez de bonnes coques custom pour remplacer celle d'origine ce kit et fait pour vous, je recommande à 100%
