A good looking case that still has bays

Of all the cases that are available, which still have external drive bays, this is one of the best looking, in my opinion.

Inexpensive case with good airflow if you use it.

This thing was tight with a full ATX board but possible. Easy cable management is C-, but it doesn't have a window and for my purposes, cable management is a Non-Issue. The case comes with 2, Count them 2 places to mount side fans. If you use them with pressure fans, your CPU and GPU will get fresh cool air no matter where your cables are. There is a door on the right side of the case for ease of access for cable management, it very much needs a blister. Both doors need a blister of 1 inch for cables on the right side and for fans on the left side, but it's manageable, if annoying.EDIT: Power button not lighted except in sleep. it's annoying to hunt for the button but a dab of paint will fix that.USE PRESSURE FANS.I actually had to mount my fans on the outside of the case as the case isn't wide enough to mount them inside with a large tower cooler on the CPU or with a standard size GPU. I moved the included case fan to the rear exhaust and populated the two front fan positions with Arctic PST 12 fans 120mm 1 PWM with an extra plug / built in splitter to plug a non PWM Arctic P12 fan into. My CPU cooler is Arctic Freezer 34 CO, it fits but you won't be getting a fan inside the door's side vent. I used Arctic PST 12 120mm PWM and P12 standard fan on the exterior of the side door vents also. Side door vent fans blow fresh cool air on CPU and GPU, Ram and chipsets on the board No Matter whether your cables are messy or not. Getting the power cables for the fans on the exterior of the side door is a problem to be solved. You could drill a hole large enough for the plugs, 5/8 inch would be plenty. I just closed the door gently on the cables. If I install my Arctic Accelero Mono Plus graphics card cooler, it comes with a rear slot knockout plug with vent holes that should pass the cables.I have a GTX 1660 Super Asus Phoenix Fan GPU. So far with the side fans, I haven't needed the aftermarket GPU cooler. I think the Asus Phoenix cards get a bad rap, installed in Hot Boxes with horrible airflow that need 2-3 fans on the card. The case isn't pretty, probably less so after you bolt fans to the outside but it is a cheap and very/extremely functional solution. Looking at it again, it doesn't look expensive but it's not unattractive.I should say something about the front I/O. 2 X USB 3.0. Two jacks, presumably headphone and Mic. A Go button. A also a where the heck did that link take me, Nooooo button. Two DVD size bays and a small floppy size punch out.For me, this was a literal Doesn't matter, Don't care build from parts I have had sitting 2 years, that I was going to carry as parts overseas and built in a case there. I just wanted to build because by the time I go anywhere, these parts will be practically out of date. I will buy more up to date parts to build overseas. If you are worried about cable management, buy an external DVD burner, use the internal bays to hide excess cables, it's what I did.If the Left side of the case had a one inch blister on the door? I would have given this case 5 stars in it's price range. Maybe it would be Too Good of a value then, and that's why no blister.

Excellent quality. It has thumbscrews on the rear so a screwdriver is not required to slide the covers off. It has an air filter integrated into the front panel with mount points for two 120mm fans which go just behind the filter to pull air into the case. Four additional fans can be added. Two in the left side cover, one in the rear, and one in the bottom, all 120mm. There is a locking device for expansion cards. Only one screw is needed to secure them.

Fatal flaw

Just now getting to this case that I purchased months ago for a specific project. I need the external drive bays, which are rare these days in a new case. The manufacturer claims this case supports boards up to 12" x 13" in size. It does not. My copy will not take a full size ATX board, which is 12" wide. The PCB I have bumps the drive bay and will not align on the standoffs. I verified it is 12" exactly. Very disappointed.

You get what you pay for

Flimsy case. Very thin metal construction with some sharp edges. Power supply mount not well thought out (does not work with all power supplies). Not a lot of space for hard drives. Power switch and reset switch are flimsy plastic. Otherwise works well enough, and looks okay. You get what you pay for.

Works as advertised

Like most things these days a simple punched out case is expensive, but it does the job for a basic computer build.

Over priced for the quality.

Worst Cases I've ever dealt with in my life. And I've personally built over 500 computers. It was nearly impossible to install the PSU due to the case being cheaply made or misaligned, I have no idea. The hard drive bay design is an interesting idea. But forces you to only have access to 2 hard drives. Extremely annoying.Over priced for the quality.

Can't get much smaller for this basic ATX case.

What I like:It's small and inexpensive for an ATX case.Front mesh for good air flow if you install front fans (I did).USB 3.0 in the front with audio inputs. You can place fans anywhere on this little guy!Does the job. What I don't like:No cable management or easy removal/placement of peripherals. Not a case you would want to tinker with after the initial build, unless you have stick arms with baby hands. Not going to win any beauty pageants.
