We had issues knowing if clients were entering the building while we were in our offices. This has allowed us to have a receiver in each office (separate locations in the building). This solved the problem. We can also have a chime on the back door as well, and on the fire escape. simple set up and exceptionally quick set up time. AAA++

I bought this for my mother. My step father has dementia and she was worried that he might wonder off outside. I fitted this and it lets her know if he opens the front door. Easy installation and loads of different chimes and noises to choose from.

This is a clean and simple product that pairs easily. I've been using it now for a few weeks. The magnets have to be orientated one way for it to work, which affects positioning. My application is for a driveway gate, where the device interacts with the vertical latch movement, and is mounted on a block of wood. I used a single screw to secure it in addition to the adhesive pad. The gap between the gate halves is too wide for the device as-is. Since installing it, we've been lashed with rain on a daily basis and it's working just fine.The range I employ it for is roughly 50 metres, however there's quite a lot of brick wall between the gate and where I have the receiver. Placement of the receiver is crucial. On one side of the room, it doesn't receive a signal (it has essentially the full length of the house's wall in the way). On the other side it's great because there's a long corridor with minimal interference.But there's a caveat, and perhaps this might be what other folks have experienced. It stops working... or so it seems. In the same dual socket the receiver runs from, I also have a wirelessly switched plug connecting a trailing socket that looks after my PC & etc. When the PC is on... the receiver doesn't "work". I presume therefore the signal is getting grounded or interfered with due to the other equipment. In the mornings, before I fire everything up, the receiver always chimes for the Postman. During the day... not a squeak.Placement is *everything* with this product. Get it right and life is good. If it seems to stop working, check for other electricals nearby or in the way.Am I happy with it? Totally. Would I buy it again? Sure & would be nice if it came in black and with a switchable LED to make it a bit more discreet. I've awarded 4 stars, which is a bit mean, but I docked a star because of the sensitivity around placement. Given this is rated for circa 200m, and I have issues at 50m, I figure folks with longer distances will have more work to do.All in all, if you've a simple application or you're not sure and can afford experimentation, it's definitely worth buying.

Bought these for my grandparents because they have a tedancy to leave the door unlocked and don't hear people opening the door.Easy to install and now means the grandparents hear whenever someone opens the door and aren't startled by family just walking into the living room.It has 2 chimes too so one can be plugged in downstairs and one upstairs. They are loud enough for my grandad to hear even without his hearing aids in.

Loud, alerts you every time the door opens, just what I needed.

After a month, one of the plug-in receivers stopped working. They sent a replacement, but it wasn't working either. And now the seller is ignoring my emails.It's not a professional company (it's called Chunlee Store), and I wouldn't recommend anyone purchase this product unless you want to waste your money.
