Works well
Product works well. I almost knocked a point off for how it's packaged (bag with zip closure) but I solved the problem of the zip closure not working when the product invariably gets into it by putting it into a small canning jar with a tight fitting lid.

Wonderful product - good for root rot
Great product, wonderful seller. Good for root rot. I use it for my pulmaria plants that are prone to stem rot in addition to root rot. I've saved a few plants with this product. I don't know if this product is supposed to help with stem rot but in my case it seemed to do so. The key ingredient is trichoderma harzianum, which is hard to find if you aren't a professional grower buying in bulk. So grateful to get it.

Beware of misleading information about trichoderma from PSEUDO-scientists!!!!!
I just want to start off by saying that I've been using this product for a while from their website (love this product by the way, very solid) and this is my first time seeing their product on Amazon and saw some WRONG reviews with misleading information about how trichderma needs to be "green" from wannabe scientists so wanted to set the record straight!!!!!Trichoderma harzianum/viride actually look WHITE when they grow out of the soil, as shown in the photo I just posted. The white fungi in that picture are definitely, most definitely Trichoderma. They COULD look green while they're in their sporulation stage, and THIS is the reason why they may appear "green" in petri dishes as suggested by the pseudo-scientist in the other review. That having been said, if you happen to see green fungi in nature, or on the soil surface in your garden, it is probable that OTHER fungi are also growing around your plants. One last thing, Trichoderma grow around the roots in the soil, and usually, you cannot see them on the soil surface. You can see them only when you are lucky!!!!! So all these pseudoscientists need to brush up on their "science" (they literally do not know what they are talking about) and actually learn more about Trichoderm and how wonderful it is to your plants and soil, and yes they are WHITE!!!

Plant seedlings respond.
I can't have root failure. I grow in soil blocks and seed trays from seed and giving plants a healthy start means nutrients, nutrients, nutrients. Plus during the transplanting phase, we do a root dip to ensure when they go from a light room to field, they make it. Mikro-Root didn't let us down. After a couple of days, plants went through a growth spurt. Of course, I use a variety of nutrients. This is one I'd recommend.

Real live fungi
Mikro-Root has real live trichoderma viride. I try to grow it on old tea leaves and surprisingly real trichoderma viride was growing. So you can multiply this small bags of dry spores and grow tons of good fings for all your garden needs.

Buyer beware!
I was able to make 27 gallons with the 4oz. package when product description says it should make 44 gal. I followed the mixing instructions on the package and carefully measured 1 teaspoon in each gallon and accurately counted the number of gallons as I went. I am not happy that I ran out of product before applying to all my plants. Also, the product should have been shipped in something better than a cheap plastic envelop. USPS mutilated the shipping pouch before it even arrived. Time will tell if it works at all.

Boom: what a difference
This product is so effective. I've organically gardened for years, I have fruit trees, vegetables, and ornamentals. I usually just use organic fertilizers and worm castings. I have some saplings I'm nursing along, and everything was growing OK but it seemed like the soil needed some kind of boost, so I used Mikro-Root in conjunction with organic fertilizer, and within a week everything looked and tasted WAY better than I expected. So hard to say what it would do on its own, but I definitely will continue to use it when fertilizing.
