Excellent protection for your connections
This stuff works exactly as described. I've used this before, but always purchased it from ham radio shops. Glad Amazon carries it. Easy to use and keeps weather out of your connections.

Coax seal works
This tape worked great. It really sealed the joint and was easy to work with.

Marine or exterior cable work? Get this.
We're cruising sailors and preventing salt air from intruding into VHF and SSB antennas, is important. This stuff is an old product and works just as it should. It seals on itself and forms into a water/air tight shield against the elements. I used most of the roll to protect a VHF coax splice after a mast removal for re-rigging. I recommend it for all such work.

A must have for long term outdoor antenna connections!
I have used this Coax Seal for over 25 years and it ALWAYS works great!Very easy to use, just wrap it around the coax connector and hand mold it to make a completely waterproof connection that will last for years, but it is important to use a quality electricians' tape to cover it to keep contamination for dust and dirt to a minimum. I used this on a silver plated, Teflon insulated PL-259 and 8 or 9 years later when I took the antenna down for maintenance and removed the electrician's tape and the Coax Seal, the PL-259 look new and shiny. And folks, when you need to use black electrician's tape on an antenna connection, do not try to save money on the cheap stuff. Buy genuine 3M Super 88. )you'll thank me later, years later)

Impermeable and very long lasting
I've been using this stuff on my amatuer radio antennas and any electrical connection I have outside. It stays flexible, like putty. And it does not leak, and does not come off. I have left it in place for 30 years on aluminum and copper. When I remove it, the copper is still shiny, and the aluminum looks like it's new. Great stuff.

Easy to use
This moldable butyl rubber product is an important part of weather sealing coaxial cable connections. A commercial radio professional friend taught me to wrap the coax with GOOD electrical tape with the sticky side out. Wrap with the Coax Seal and wrap with a final layer of the electrical tape sticky side in.
