I'm 5'8 220 lbs. My dojo gave me a size 6 gi that fits my weight but is way to big everywhere else. The legs and arms are for someone over 6'2". I grabbed this one hoping for a more comfortable fit. The way the pants are made it's the right length and right side around the waist. Plenty of room to stretch and kick appropriately without feeling strangled or weighed down by something so big. The top to the gi also fits correctly giving my hands the freedom they need to be utilized properly during sparing. The gi is a heavier material with double knee protection. But the pants are lighter than the top. The top is made of a very high quality material. The stitching and materials used were selected to me from the best sources possible. It's a thicker gi allowing you to stay warm in the colder months. Does not shrink when washed, color doesn't fade when washed. I chose black and it's as vibrant as black as black can be vibrant, and has stayed that way even after washed.

Gi: A marked improvement over my stiff, heavy gi previously worn. The pants and top are near tailor fit to my chart recommendation fit (5-10”, 185 lbs).The top is a durable material that is comfortable and softer than my prior uncomfortable & stiff gi. It has tight stitching and I have no concerns about its durability. Again, I especially like how it’s matched to my size as my prior gi had enough extra fabric around the midsection to easily accommodate someone100lbs heavier than me.The pants feel fantastic. My prior pants could almost stand on their own with stiffness of the material. These feel softer than my well worn blue jeans. I’m looking forward to seeing how they hold up in rolls given they feel almost too comfortable.The pants also have an external drawstring along the waist, as opposed to a mostly covered drawstring that my prior gi pants have. I decided against upgraded my gi previously solely because of this external drawstring feature. However after nearly losing the cord inside the seam after washing / drying I decided it was no longer a big deal breaker.Overall I’m looking forward to breaking this gi in on the mats and wish I upgraded earlier.

Has held up very well over 6 months of 3x/week training and regular washing. Little fading, very little shrinking at all. And I’m a white belt, so me and my gi are under heavy abuse! Black belts can choke and smash you all day long and this gi will let them. Fabric is heavy duty, and no ripped seams at this time.

Solid quality gi for the price! The fit is slightly different than other gis relative to the sizing, so make sure you check the sizing chart and follow your height and weight on it!Comfortable top, and the traditional cotton weave pants are very comfortable. Overall, it functions well for jiu jitsu! Should serve me for a good long time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:So happy multiple people at my academy recommended the Elite GI. The price was in the range I was looking for and there were multiple colors to pick from unlike other brands. This GI is my new favorite for summer because it is lightweight and breathable. The sizing chart was spot on. After washing it several times it still fits perfectly. No shrinking or fading. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great looking affordable option.

Nice Gi. Lightweight, I had to get the adult size 1 as my son is tall, 5.5, but skinny, 104lbs, so it is baggier than we’d like but the tie waist fixes that issue. He said is more comfortable than his last one. The length was perfect for his height, hit just right at his ankles.

I’ve been training BJJ for a few years now, and the ELITE Gi has easily become one of my go-to Gis. Right out of the package, you can tell it’s made with quality in mind. The fabric is tough enough to handle hard rolls but still light and breathable — ideal for both training and competition.The fit is excellent. It’s tailored enough to avoid excess material, but still gives full mobility where it counts. The reinforced stitching and ripstop pants give me confidence that this gi is built to last. I’ve washed it several times (cold water, hang dry) and haven’t noticed any shrinkage or fading.Aesthetically, it’s clean and professional — understated branding with a sharp look. I’ve received several compliments on it at the gym.If you’re looking for a high-performance gi at a reasonable price point, I can’t recommend the ELITE Gi enough. Whether you’re a white belt just starting out or a more experienced practitioner, this gi delivers in every category.

Great quality GI! The material is durable yet comfortable, and it holds up well during intense training sessions. The fit is perfect, and it looks sharp on the mat. Definitely recommend for both beginners and experienced martial artists. For size reference 5’8 and 175 pounds and ordered a size 3!
