Well made, versatile
I used this to safely, cleanly add more circuits to an older vehicle. The split-circuit design was exactly what I needed, because I needed some circuits on battery power, like the radio clock, and some circuits on ignition only, like gauges. It was probably twice as big as I needed, which caused some mounting challenges, but it was helpful to have terminals accessible from both sides. The grounding block also wasn't strictly needed in a car, because you can ground anything to the vehicle body, but it did simply wiring. I found the block to be very sturdy and well-made, and the cover adds another layer of protection. Finally, the built-in fuse puller and spare fuse holder is a good "just in case" feature.

Great Split Bus Blade Fuse Block
First off, Blue Sea Systems products seem very well made and I am pleased with the products that I have purchased. I purchased this product for a project I am currently working on. I have a vehicle with a 6V electrical system. I wanted 12V to power other decvices and I wanted to be able to fuse both the 6V and 12V circuits. This product has a split buss that allows for 6 circuits on each of the 2 busses which allowed my to connect two different voltages one on each bus. I used a 6v to 12V boost converter then attached the 12V to one bus and the original 6V to the other. Both busses share common ground connections which I found very convenient. I also like the clear plastic cover so you can see the blade fuses. And with easeyID fuses, with leds that illuminate when a fuse is blown, it is quick and easy to identify which fuse needs replacing. Over all I am totally pleased with the quality and cost of this product. I would, and have already purchased more than one of these devices and would recommend it to others.

Always been a good brand to go with
This fuse block is an excellent addition to any electrical setup! It’s well-built, durable, and designed with high-quality materials. The easy-to-use terminal connections make wiring a breeze. I love the transparent cover that provides extra protection from dust and debris while still allowing me to quickly check the fuse status. Highly recommend it!

Great line of products, my Go-To for automotive electrical projects
First, the good:• I've used numerous Blue Sea products and I rate their design and quality among the best in the industry.• My most recent purchase was the first need to contact the company for support. Their response was less than 24 hours by email and they replaced my purchase with no questions asked and no need to return the failed product first.• As far as I can tell, Blue Sea products are not manufactured in China. Design is done in the US and manufacturing is done outside the country, but not in China. The missing 5th star is for a recent product failure and what I perceive to be decreased quality in manufacturing. I bought 2 identical fuse blocks (p/n 5032) for different projects in the past year or so. The screw connections on this most recent one seemed to wiggle and be more flimsy than I remember. And my recent purchase suffered a product failure during installation - one of the main distribution studs broke loose and spun freely, preventing me from either tightening or removing the nut. Honestly, this could happen to any manufactured product, and perhaps it was just my bad luck. I'm willing to forgive and continue using Blue Sea products, so long as this doesn’t indicate a trend.Areas for improvement:• Blue Seas products tend to be more expensive than similar products which do essentially the same thing. With that said, I am willing to pay a premium for products made in the USA. How much of a premium when only the design is being done here then becomes an issue.• As I mentioned, Quality is something I will be watching closely. For electrical connections and fabrication work, I would hate to see them cheapen their products.
