A must have tool

This is one of those tools I wish I bought years ago! Gets into tight spots that are normally a pain to get to with just a ratchet and not have room to move or have any leverage.

It was a gift

I bought for my husband and I was so worried he wouldn’t even use it but 3 days after getting it he told me that he was so happy I got him it because he needed one that day and it worked like it should have.

Great tool

This tool has got me out of numerous situations that I never thought that I would use it. It feels cheap because you can hear the chain rattle inside but it's not, it's made with quality. I have put this tool through the ringer under high torque with no issues. Great addition to the tool box.

Handy but not sturdy

It says impact ready but I used my 3/8 impact DRIVER to thread the transmission mounting bolts on an Allison in a fire truck application and the square drive receivers are cracked on both sides now I got about 3 bolts in before it cracked I just ran the bolts in until they touched the mount and then I torqued them with a socket so I don’t think it was a crazy excessive force but maybe the application was to big for what it is may do better in the passenger automotive applicationBuild materials could definitely use some more robust-ness

Not Strong Enough to be Useful

25 year Mechanical Engineer here who gets dirty and works in the trenches. I work half with my hands and half on a computer. The 3/8" drive receivers at the ends of this tool have gears on them and are connected by a chain in the handle portion. The gear and the 3/8" drive receiver is all one piece. This part fractured during the application of less than an estimated 25 ft-lbs of torque with a standard length 3/8" drive wrench. The description says it is rated for 53 ft-lbs and also impact rated. Upon inspection of the fracture surface, it became evident the part did not show elongation and appeared to be either a very low strength, low ductility iron based alloy, possibly cast iron, or a non graded throw whatever you have into the crucible pot metal. This part would have to be machined steel in order to survive. I found it odd that the part that failed has no draft or parting lines and has what appears to be machining witness marks on it. I expected it to be cast in some way. Why spend significant money to machine a part only to use such low grade material? Poor decisions, bad material, no concern about failures or the reputation of the brand.... charging $70 and betting that enough customers will wait more than a month to need the tool so that by the time it breaks it is beyond the return period.... that is how money is made on this product. I would say that I will avoid buying anything else of this brand, but it will simply be changed to a brand name made up of two English words that when put together don't make any sense. We, our fathers, our grandfathers, on and on, we worked hard to get this country to a point where reliable products were made, quality materials were used, and brand names were built and could be trusted. Now we are back to buying junk unless you want to spend the money on the tool truck brands. I'd like to see a company like Channellock in Meadville, PA make tools like these for a couple bucks more and set the example.

The real Torque capability.

Product on description states that it is designed to provide max torque of 96 ft/lb…. In reality it’s just designed for 53 ft/lb

Love this thing

Works perfectly. The different attachment for the different sockets is helpfull. Just don't forget you have this and sit there trying to turn a watcher 3 clicks at a time for 5 minute and then remember you have this. Made removing and replacing some tensioner bolts super fast and easy.

Good wrench for stubborn projects

Wrench works well for those hard to reach spots. Bought this for my son since he was pulling the motor from his truck. Saved him a lot of time trying to loosen bolts in tight spots.
