I gambled on these hopefully being flat, good boards for laser cutting. They are great. Will definitely purchase again. Thank you for producing a great product affordably. I’m so happy.UPDATE (1/30/22): I've purchased this order 8 times in the past and it's always been MDF draftboard (light colored, easy to laser cut). With this last purchase it was HDF hardboard (darker, dense, hard to laser cut, and creates ash). I contacted the seller and they took care of me, so I'm leaving this a 5-star review because of awesome customer service. They told me that the MDF is harder to make right now due to supply issues. I hope they start making MDF again, and update this listing to notify people either way.

I am pleased with this purchase. It’s exactly what description states. Extremely pleased that they are all flat which to me was a must for my projects.

Using for Laser Cut projects, arrived on time and as advertised

I just got my order. It's hardboard, not MDF. It's still going to work okay for my needs, but will require different finishing as opposed to MDF and a tweak to my laser cutter settings as it's definitely denser than MDF. This description should either be updated, or MDF should be shipped instead of what I'm assuming is eucalyptus hardboard panels.

For some reason this material is nearly impossible to cut through using a 50-watt laser. I am running at 80% power and 5mm/s and, even with two passes it doesn’t cut through. MDF from other vendors cuts fine at twice that speed. The cut point glows bright white as if I hit a knot in a wood panel and tiny sparks radiate from the cut point.

Past 4 orders have been hardboard, not MDF. Hardboard is dark, smooth and very dense. Takes 2x the time to process, paper coating can also tear the face.Just can't spend this much and not get what was ordered.

This is terrible wood. It’s not as pictured at all. It’s a hardened cardboard, not wood. It doesn’t work for crafting or engraving. It’s not good quality.
