Concise and Well Written
The architecture of the book is outstanding. Each paragraph has keywords listed in the margin. For reference there’s an index which every technical book should have.I’ve read multiple programming books across several different languages.Even though this isn’t a programming book per se it has the best description of classes, objects, messages, and inheritance from a high-level view I’ve seen in any book. Frankly, I’ve struggled for a while to understand these interrelationships. This is an unexpected bonus for me. In my humble opinion if you’re struggling to understand and program object oriented languages, this is a must read book. The bottom line: If you can model a system with UML, you can program it. Congratulations to the authors on an excellent textbook.

Perfect for teaching OOAD
For the first time I am using this book as a required textbook for the OOAD class I am teaching in Spring 2020. It is an excellent book as an addition to my primary textbook. I like it because I teach all hands-on with all the diagrams and models. I love it! Lots of examples and detailed explanations.
