Amazon Basics Flea and Tick Topical Treatment for Large Dogs (45-88 pounds), 3 Count (Previously Solimo)

Works just as well as name brand. We have used this on 3 labs and 2 german shepherds for years with no issues, no skin irritation, no adverse reactions. I am cautious of ingredients as one of my shepherds has epilepsy and can’t have certain flea and tick prevention, but this has worked great for her too. It won’t keep ticks from getting into their coat (that’s what spray is for) but it will ensure that they don’t stay on your dog which is super important for preventing diseases like lyme which take about 24 hours of the tick being attached to transfer. It prevents fleas perfectly.Definitely need scissors to open them, I think they are supposed to be tear off but I can’t tear the plastic.

We switched from the brand name frontline product to this about a year ago. We have had no issues with fleas or ticks and we live in a wooded area. The applicator is easy to use and the price is very affordable. We have 3 dogs and they have had no issues either

The media could not be loaded. 18 hours after applying this flea product to my healthy 4-year-old Black Mouth Cur, she died of anaphylactic shock. She bled out as her blood would not clot. After rushing her to the emergency vet and spending $2,000 to save her, the tests confirm that she was poisoned by this product! I'm furious. DO NOT use this product!We applied Amazon Basics Flea and Tick Topical (Large dog 45 - 80 lbs) This is a generic to FrontLine Plus. It was administered as instructed between the shoulders of our healthy, 4 year old Black Mouth Cur Sunny.She was perfectly fine in the morning and was with me all day at my desk until 5 pm. When I got up at 5, she did too then started throwing up and lost control of her bowels.We rushed her to the emergency vet who ran xrays and blood work to confirm she had gone into anaphylaxis shock and her blood would not clot anymore. She was bleeding out due to the toxicity of the dose of the pesticide. The veterinarian asked if she could have gotten into rat poison and I told him no, but I had just applied this flea and tick dose.He confirmed that was the likely culprit. We had to euthanize her to prevent further suffering. We are completely devastated.Please stay away from this product. I found 10 other reviews that say this product KILLED THEIR DOGS.Yet, Amazon won't remove the product. BEWARE!!

Easy to apply to my two crazy dogs. So far I haven’t seen a tick or flea and it’s been a couple weeks. It kind of left a greasy spot on their back which seems to be the norm for applications like this. It did not cause any skin irritation to my dogs and they seem to be doing fine since I applied it.

Worked for my roommates dog who had picked up fleas due to a preventative med lapse. He did not react negatively and hasn’t had any issues but dry skin from a bath. Great in a pinch!

Works for about a week. My dogs like to be outside, they play hard, and this stuff just doesn’t work like I expected. It only worked for about a week and fleas are still visible.

Been using this for over a year for my two dogs, one who is a tick magnet, the day they are active he ends up with several of them on him.Using this has been just as effective as other brands that i have used in the past and the dogs have had zero issues. Was nervous because it is cheaper than other brands but works just as well.Havent noticed any negative effects on skin of dogs or issues.

For 2 years I've been through just about every over the counter flea solution one can buy. Just on a whim "I guess it can't hurt to try one more." I got this product. My dog has been flea free for two months right in the peak season of late spring early summer for them. I applied this high quality product between my pups shoulder blades and it killed whatever fleas she had within a day. She experienced a mild skin irritation but on the second dose 4 weeks later that stopped.
