absolutely stunning ......however
once bought never regretted ....its not a chess set its a piece of art and a piece of my heart....the "however" is that as lovely this item is ,i find it very difficult to play chess with it because the pieces are so large the knights sort of push other pieces to one side and when a few pieces get grouped its difficult to see which ones under threat or where your next move should be. maybe id the pieces were scaled down a little.having said that i dont regret owning this chess set for 1 minute

This set is very big
I love this set and its attention to detail with the pieces, the board is made of a type of material that won’t easily be scatched by the pieces, but it is fairly big and requires a good amount of space, especially if you choose to actually play with it like i have chose to.

The Name Costs How Much?
This chess set is worth about £20. You can get much better sets for a lot less. But, more importantly, you can get other stunning, beautiful, ornate sets for asking price of £300.Basically you are paying £280 for the name "Harry Potter".

Good but with defects- dodgy craftsmanship.
We purchased this item after seeing it in a fan shop. It was double the price in the shop as you can imagine so the price for this item was reasonable. It is easy to set up and use out of the box. It is NOT magnetic. The pieces are heavy and sturdy with decent sizes. However, some pieces won’t fit near each other when you play.We saw some scratches to the base and got in touch with the seller. They offered us a very minimal partial refund or asked us to return it for a full refund. It was purchased a day before a 11-y-old’s birthday so returning unfortunately wasn’t an option. We turned down the partial refund as it wasn’t a fair offer for a poorly crafted item.So overall, I’d say although it was half price compared to the store, it is too much money for what it is.
