LAND 911 9102 Folding Knife Steel Blade 12C27

This is built like a tank. Crazy sharp out of the box. Great machining with semi crowned spine and grips. No hot spots or sharp corners. A tiny bit tight opening but I haven't taken it apart and lubed it. Looks exactly like my large sebenza, only 1/2" smaller overall. Best under $30.00 knife. The one they sent has blue thumb studs. Wow!!!

I’ve got a Chris reeves sebenza that I’ve been toting for 20 plus years. It needs to be sent back to Idaho for some tlc. So, I’ve been looking for a less expensive replacement to take its place, and I think I’ve found it. This knife checks all the boxes, quality piece, showing it to my gf in comparison to my sebenza, and she can’t tell the difference. Looks great, nice grinds to the blade, and it seems that the cheaper the knives on Amazon. The better the quality. I’ll be ordering more of these for myself and as presents.

After losing my nice Benchmade, I decided to look for a less expensive everyday knife. Wirecutter (NYTimes) gave a recommendation for the smaller version. I've carried this larger version daily now for a month and really like it. The blade comes sharp enough for me, slices paper smoothly. It's cheap enough that I won't be upset if I lose it, and I can use it to cut anything and not worry about banging it up. Quibbles are its a bit heavy, and I wish the clip was on the other end. For the price, this is a decent quality, sharp, everyday knife worth buying. Will buy again when needed.

I mean, the steel. The lockup. The action. This thing is just an incredible value. Its a little larger than I prefer but carries will because its thin. The blade steel is some of my favorite and an incredible value compared to like a s30v (which this knife also comes in at like 4 times the cost). I also have the G10 version but prefer this one. The detent is very strong, but give it some time and it will smooth out. Overall its a cannot miss purchase.

Love this knife and everything about it. It checks all the boxes for me. Action is good out of the box and has only gotten better with use. Holds a wicked edge, have only needed to strop it after heavy use to bring it back to hair splitting. For the price, I prefer the 12c27 blade steel vs 8cr13mov common for knives in this price range. Easy in and out of the pocket and feels great in hand. This knife has been put to hard daily use and is holding up great. I could care less that this knife is a close copy of a famous and overpriced American knife. I'll never spend $400 for the original no matter how much cash I have to spare. I actually use and carry my knives daily. This knife is a fine example of the quality of knives coming out of China.

Nice shape, good ergonomics, sharpens easy. Pocket clip works. The weight is Not too bad in the pocket. Overall happy.

I got this knife in October 2020, feels great, a copy of a sebenza in form. I love it, really, carried it quite a bit. But, I carry in the back pocket, brushed against something one day and the clip which is only secured by one bolt and the G10 pocket it fits in, moved, and broke the handle scale material. It is loose side to side now, and I can't really fix that. Also on at least two occasions the knife popped open slightly in my pocket and I nearly sliced my hand or pocket with the exposed tip of the blade, so some combo of the detent being weak, and or the thumb stud must cause this. It's really unnerving to feel the edge of a blade that is razor sharp graze your hand or poke you when you don't expect it. So I stuck it in a drawer a few years ago and left it there. It would be a great letter opener. I wish I could get it fixed and trust it better. Thus 2 stars for what could be a 5 star knife, especially at this value. Everything else is excellent in feel, cutting ability, etc.
