This kit is phenomenal. The instructions, both the included paper and the video, are detailed, professional and accurate. I opted to solder mine so I could use the touchpad click and the L3/R3 buttons, and it worked perfectly.My only minor criticism is the shape of the buttons make it too easy to accidentally press the upper ones, so I've cut those ones down using a Dremel and turned them in to circular buttons which have a different feel and are not so easy to press by accident. It would be great if this kit included some additional, differently-shaped, buttons (or ones sold separately).But I'm so happy with the result. I've wanted a controller with back buttons for such a long time but could never justify the expense. This kit is not only affordable, but dead easy to fit.

Very nice product!It came with very good instructions and was quite straight forward to fit. I did decide to solder the R3 and L3 wires on and im glad i did now.General fit is very good and i like the soft feel compared to the original ps4 controller.Please make this kit for the PS5 cause im going to miss this.

I have the PS5 rise remap kit from the same seller and also the PS5 tactile triggers which are both excellent but I wanted to try the PS4 kit as I just prefer the shape of the DS4.I found this kit more fiddly than the PS5 version. There is a step in the video in particular which requires you to use double sided tape (which they don't provide annoyingly) to stick a cable ribbon to the motherboard (it is around 4:07 in the instruction video). This bit was a real pain as the cable kept slipping out at later stages so I had to go back to try to reattach multiple times.The cable ribbon itself is ultimately held in place by two extruding pieces of plastic from the front shell, so I resolved it by attaching the cable ribbon to those pieces of plastic instead. This may not be an option if you want to do the soldering steps though.The back buttons themselves are good though and well placed compared to the ps5 version where realistically only 2 of the buttons are easily accessible. The button resistance is also good. Much less stiff than the official ps4 back button which I found a bit of a challenge to activate on occasion.

Absolutely rubbish piece of plastic and nothing else sent back

I installed without any soldering (just sticky tape) and it was a breeze, took 1.5hrs to complete.Pros- Comes with everything you need including screwdrivers & extra parts in case you break anything.- I have fat fingers and i'm not a DIY person but I just followed the instruction pamphlet given and the youtube video and it worked a treat.- Back buttons feel very sturdy. I have tried pressing them in harder than a normal person would and it feels solid as a rock.- You have the option to remove some of the back buttons (I only want two back buttons as i find four overly complicated). This is easy to do as you just pull the buttons off.- So much more cheaper than a scuff. I was contemplating spending big on a scuff but instead went for this, thank god i did.Cons- There are two methods to remap; by pressing and holding a series of buttons on the controller or holding a small section on the back of the controller for about 5 seconds. There have been rare occasions where the controller has accidentally gone into remapping mode (I think because i covered the section at the back) and so none of the back buttons are usable until you're out of this mode (which is very easy to exit out of). Note I am nit picking here and this really isn't a big deal at all, just takes a few seconds to get out of remapping mode.

Absolutely brilliant so much better for competitive games.Would advise if you have the tool and know how to make holes in the back of Ur stock controller base and order Ur own buttons with caps and hot glue them in place on the inside for a more comfortable experience. Almost turns you controller into a battle beaver pro build or a scuff.

Really good option if you dont want to spend hundreds on a scuf controller.really esay to install following the instructions,you will get 4 extra remappable back buttons.really great addition

Installed without soldering and my L1, R1 and up/right on d-pad don't work anymore. Tried disassembling and reassembling but that didn't help.Can't find any way to contact seller for support and my question went unanswered hence the review.If I could get it to work I'd rate much higher but as of now I'm out the cost of the mod and one dualshock controller which doesn't leave me far off a scuf.

Wir haben eigentlich erst den offiziellen PS-Controller mit Paddles gekauft, der war meinem Sohn aber zu groß und zu schwer. Also haben wir einen bestehenden Controller umgebaut.Absolut machbar für den technisch versierten Anwender. Danach die Paddles anklipsen - ist der neue Lieblingscontroller für Egoshooter im Haus.

The media could not be loaded. El mejor Mod para tu DualShock 4, puedes remapear cualquier botón del mando ( X ∆ 0... R1 R2 L1... la cruceta...) excepto el botón PS y los mandos digitales. Muy útil para juegos shooter donde debes utilizar el analógico derecho y los botones de acción ( te olvidas de ellos al utilizar los traseros) Tardas un poco en acostumbrate pero son muy buenos. La instalación no es complicada si saber soldar y el remapeo es muy sencillo, hay tutoriales en Youtube...

Sono rimasto molto sorpreso dalla qualità del prodotto. Le plastiche sono di ottima fattura e gli incastri non danno alcun problema. Prima di acquistare il prodotto vi consiglio di guardarvi diversi tutorial sul montaggio e di eseguire l'operazione con calma, pazienza e maneggiando i componenti con delicatezza. Usate una superficie piana e pulita dove riporre tutto.Aiutatevi inoltre con:- Nastro biadesivo (sottile, non quello da esterni)- Pinzette- Tronchesine- Colla rapida (io non l'ho usata, ma volendo può essere utile)Unica nota negativa la qualità dell'utensile per fare leva ed aprire il controller, la plastica si consuma subito, aiutatevi con un cacciavite a taglio o un coltellino per aprire il controller. Inoltre il sensore per la funzione di mappatura è molto sensibile, occhio a non toccare il controller al centro, eventualmente se vi da fastidio potete semplicemente riaprire il controller e tagliarlo e usare la pressione dei tasti funzione richiesta per entrare/uscire dalla modalità di mappatura.Le istruzioni sono in inglese, ma visivamente è chiaro il montaggio e sono disponibili dei video su YouTube.Consigli:- Attenzione a tagliare bene le bavette dei pulsanti- Inserite i pulsanti, le due viti dei fissaggi, ma non serrate subito, aiutatevi col cacciavite a mettere bene in posizione il pulsante, quando vedrete che il fissaggio accoppia bene negli alloggiamenti serrate le viti- Seguite le istruzioni passo passo, non anticipate delle operazioni perché l'ordine con cui sono eseguite vi aiuta a non dimenticarvi pezzi- Maneggiate tutto con cura, alcune parti del controller sono fragili- Non forzate niente, alcuni incastri possono essere duri e difficoltosi (apertura del controller in primis), fate con calma e riprovate se non riuscite.Bel prodotto! Bravi. Amazon eccellente come al solito sulla spedizione e sulle tempistiche.

Wow, this blows the socks of any other product in this price range..The design, integration, build quality are all excellent. I still can't get over how they managed to provide everything so well designed for such an affordable price. Everything fits together perfectly, plenty of spare parts included, as well as tools (screw driver and pry tool). Placement of buttons will take some time to get used to, and the touch sensor can get annoying sometimes in between games where my hand moves away from its natural position and makes contact with the bottom of the controller. But that's all user things, and not the products fault.In summary, don't waste your cash on competitors products going for way higher; this gives you everything you need to compete for a much lower price.Thanks guys!

Probabilmente la rubostezza dei tasti non sarà la stessa di uno scuf ma io l'ho acquistato per giocare a cod e ora mi ritrovo molto più competitivo di prima con un costo misero. Ve lo consiglio, lasciate perdere prodotti da 200 euro. Per quanto riguarda il montaggio non é difficile ma bisogna avere un po' di manualità e se possibile sapere utilizzare il saldatore stagno
