Chinese Sword/Han jian/Medium Carbon Steel Blade/White Leather Paint Scabbard

Absolutely wonderful. This Han Jian was for me, the Yitian Jian is for my wife. We both love these beautifully hand crafted swords. We shall make many more purchases in the future. I highly recommend this seller. Excellent quality, for a perfect price. Arrived on time, and we are over the moon abut these Jian's. Can't wait to buy more.

This is my first time ordering from Dai Hong Guang. I have been practicing kung fu with the jian for several years, so I was rather disappointed when I opened the package that just arrived today.The packaging was roughly done and in styrofoam. When I cut it open, I found a sword that had warped at the hand guard with a degree of warping severe enough that I couldn't properly remove the blade from the sheath or stick it back in. There was no way to test the sword since I couldn't remove it from the sheath properly or even swing it due to the dangers of working around with a warped blade.The design and appearance of the sword is nice, and the balancing is manageable, albeit a bit point-heavy. It would be best if I can get a replacement for this sword - my review wouldn't be this bad, if it weren't for the fact that it came warped/damaged.

Wonderful design and craftsmanship. It actually ended up working out better than I had hoped for my practice sword.

Beautiful, and really nice details. It only falls a bit short on the balance. The blade pulls to one side a bit and it's point heavy. Aesthetically, it's lovely, but I wouldn't use it for drills.

full tang, good construction (fine for light cutting targets)only issues are with UPS
