Gotta change it regularly, but it works!
Excellent product. Removes sediment as it should. Tip: keep an eye on the price - it often comes down quite a bit -- then buy 'em. It'll go back up again.

Great for use as a prefilter
My filter of choice is the 5 micron carbon block - those really provide great quality water but are expensive and tend to clog quickly so this is the ideal choice as a pre filter.If sediment is your only problem then this makes sense, fairly cheap and effective at what it does.
