Sturdy plastic. The locking mechanism works well and clicks right into place.

I love these. We don't have a lot of storage space, so being able to stack things and the fact that they are compact helps a lot. I like the lid and the handle that you can easily pull them in and out of shelves. Very sturdy. I've used them for index cards (index card dividers fit even with the lid on), bathroom storage (bandaids, ointments), by the bed for eyeglasses, chargers, etc.I've purchased them twice and will again for another project I have in mind.

Just like the popular brand name at a better price. Stack nicely with like size boxes. Great for small parts storage & organization.

VERY NICE BOX for all kind of uses when on sale as in my case. A little bit bulky for use in some places perhaps, but so far it has it uses for me. Maybe a little less brittle type of plastic would be nicer, but so far, no problems with accidental cracking.

Love this little box, I bought 3x5 cards and have all my recipes in it and I love it.

My daughter is creating many new recipes and writing them on 3x5 cards are quicker to hold the info initially before eventually being transferred to digital format at a later date. Since the container would be around the kitchen, getting used a lot and could get messy wanted something STURDY, easy lid and easy to clean. This FIT THE SPECS and thus purchased :)

It’s well built and exactly what I was looking for to hold my flashcards. But the only color option when ordering was blue (I love blue), and when I received it, it was green. I’m not too worried about it but if someone needs it to be blue, definitely be aware that may not be what you get 😂

Just be aware there is no color choice to pick. I thought I was getting a green but instead I received a blue (which is my favorite color) lol so I got lucky with this one. I took several photos, I even added a sharpie so you can see how small the box is. I stacked 100 red envelopes in the box, turned them upside down to see if the lid will held on. And sure enough, the lid kept a good grip. I'd definitely recommend buying this. I should've brought 2: one for my flash cards and the other for cash stuffing challenge.
