Smart, rambly, and funny as hell
The final chapter in this book about women dating men is about the intrinsic value of women's reflecting on their dating experiences. I can't think of a better happily ever after than that.Women's romantic expectations and experiences are so varied and so complex, it's just nice to see anyone take them (hilariously) seriously. It's nice to see a smart, hot woman describe herself as such and nice to see her declare that everyone is hot. It's nice to see someone reflect on their ambiguous love life without shame or apology. We need more books of self-reflection by women of all identities. I'm thankful for all the women out there making art and valuing their own perspectives, and I can't get enough.

Absolutely hilarious
I am telling all my friends about this book (I already have). I was seriously laughing out loud at some parts because I found it so funny. I am a 26 year old female and I found the entire book to be extremely relatable; I kept thinking to myself...omg I've totally been through this too! I'm not alone! The entire book was written in colloquial style, which I loved - Blythe feels like my long lost best friend (she just doesn't know it yet). If you're thinking about reading this, DO IT. So happy it brightened up my week! There are several pop culture references I didn't understand because my celebrity knowledge is abysmal and I am not cool, but I just googled my way through the book. Now I feel slightly cooler.

Fun, entertaining superficial and hypocritical at times.
I thought her perspective was different. However a little skewed to her way of life. The insite she gave was frankly a little terrifying and sad. She definitely keeps the men she crushes on at arms length never fully committing to what could possibly be a full on relationship. Which I get she runs the scenarios and determines the out come so she predetermines what could become a fully committed relationship and ends it before fully knowing where it is going.I thought it was fairly superficial and hypocritical at times. At one point she bashes on the scale, rating and graphing of women but then goes on to rate her own crushes and essentially graph them. I dont have a problem with the rating. I did not think it was consistent to say Men shouldn’t do this but I can. We all weigh the pros and cons differently. If her point was that Men shouldn’t publicly rate/shame women I agree. Keeping your thoughts and place markers for potential partners should not be done in a public forum or in such a way that it could make them feel bad for not living up to your standards. The book was entertaining and her sarcatic humor was fun. I walked away hoping she finds love and thinking it would be ironic if he was either 10+years her elder or 10+ years her younger due to some of her reactions to the age differences of some of her celebrity crushes partnerships and her thinking it is “gross”.I hope she keeps writing as she continues on her journey. Though I didnt always agree with her I loved that we had a lot in common and her humor was a treat.

How to date men when you hate men
It’s a good book but I only buy audiobooks now. I learn through listening and images. Not by reading

The most incredible book known to the universe.
Extremely well written. Empowering and incredibly relatable. This book helps put into words all these thoughts, feelings and emotions that I at least (as a woman) have experienced but struggle to verbally express and articulate aloud. I 10/10 recommend to all. Even men can get valuable and possibly helpful tips for this stunning book. Blythe, you brilliant savage you.
