Wow what can i say i love love this ep. I have recently got a taste for music that is different from what i normally listen to and I am so glad that I started giving artists a chance. I started out buying a Lana Del Ray cd because I was bored with my music that i was listening to. I then stumbled upon banks thanks to my kindle fire. Now I am finding other artist to buy as well. This ep is so good i am ready for the full album which i believe is coming in Sept. Buy this ep it is one of the best. Thanks amazon i really am starting to only buy my music hear.

LOVE this EP! After listening to her debut album Goddess, I became an instant fan! I bought the debut at Target (which I would recommend because it is only a couple more dollars for 4 more songs) and then I realized that I needed all of her music! The songs 'Waiting Game' and ' Change' are highlights of the EP. Both songs show her vocal talent. 'This Is What it Feels Like' is a wonderful song with a heavy beat that you can dance to. 'Bedroom Wall' is a great ballad as well. 10/10! I would recommend purchasing this EP if you have never heard her material before. If you like her, dive straight into the full LP, Goddess!

Banks is hands-down one of my favorite artists. I love her for all the emotion she usually puts in her vocals. The reason I only gave this EP four stars is because 2 out of 4 of the songs on this EP seem a little bland and didn't quite match the emotions she has in her other songs. The other 2 song on this album are fantastic though.

moody cool r and b style with hip hop flavor. too bad only 4 songs. Kind of a sexy Lorde. I like the RnB hiphop style comin from England these days. Good sound.

Expected a full album but only got the single. Explains the low price. Got the song I wanted though.

I love this artist! I can't wait until she produces a full album with more tracks. Her music is definately organic and tantalizing.

My new favorite artist! I love BANKS!

Jillian Banks commands your attention as soon as you are exposed to her vocal charms. In a sea of generic, mostly indistinguishable voices, Banks effortlessly sounds both fresh and seasoned, both naive and sultry; most of all, however, she sounds original. This 4-track EP serves both as a perfect introduction and, once you play it a couple of times (once just isn't enough), as essential listening to tide you over until her debut album is released in the fall.Banks applies herself to her subject material with equal parts of tenderness and force. Whether she sings of wanting to be with someone, or to be away from them, her voice charts the highs, the lows, and especially the spaces between; the sweet longing, the painful attraction, all the contradictions of the volatile force known as love. A variety of producers (SOHN, Lil Silva & Jamie Woon, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Tim Anderson, in order of appearance) support Banks' vocal and lyrical quest and it is a testament to her talent that each track sounds unique, but unmistakably hers. My personal favourite is 'Bedroom Wall', where her matter-of-fact confession of love is expertly underpinned by hauntingly minimal music that softly fades in and out, as if it doesn't want to spoil the moment. This is the kind of song you can feel, not just hear, and there are three more like it in here.I highly recommend this release for people who like to close their eyes while listening to music, the better to see in its depths. You will not be disappointed.
