BlueParrott B550-XT Voice Controlled, Noise Canceling Wireless Headset (Headset with Micro USB Car Charger)

I first purchased a bluetooth headset that covered both ears, but was unhappy with that style. I liked that it shut out extraneous sounds around me, but it also muffled my own voice (to me). So I purchased this one and much prefer this style - I can hear myself talk clearly, and people on the other end of the Zoom meeting can hear me much more clearly than without a headset. The only drawback to the one-ear style is that I can still hear and be distracted by noises around me. But the noise-cancelling mic does a good job of screening those out for my listeners. The headset is fairly comfortable (there's no getting around the fact you have this big THING) on your head, and the sound quality is great in both directions. Very pleased, and would buy again. Actually I did - bought one for my husband, too.

They item came earlier than stated which was a nice surprise. Looks brand new can't wait to try it.

I drive a truck, and this is one of Best sounding headsets I've owned. Gets somewhat uncomfortable after about 8 hours of wear.

The headband us extremely rigid and stuff, not very comfortable. Have trouble connecting calls. I use the voice command to answer but then the audio does not connect. Did not use the recommended app for set up because of all the bad reviews for the app.

My husband uses it every day at work, driving big rigs, and the noise cancellation is pretty amazing. We used to talk through a wireless LG headset but understanding each other (clarity wise speaking) was a complete headache. With the Blue Parrot is totally the opposite, I can hear him just as he was next to me.

I should have listend to the reviews I read from other people talking about their BlueParrott product breaking. I've had mine for just under 18 months and now it's a hunk of junk. The charching port became loose and it caused a disconnection from the computer while updating. Well, that pretty much killed the entire headset. It won't turn on or anything. No way to factory reset and since it has been 18 months, there is no warranty fix. Not even a way for me to repair it on my own with a software download or reset it to factory settings so I can do an update. Huge design flaw. I'm sure it may have been on it's way to becoming a hunk of plastic junk anyway since the charging jack was getting loose and having issues. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT. I should have listened. Don't have regrets like I have! You would expect a $200 product to last longer than 18 months. I have $30 headsets that have lasted 10 times longer. Stay away from this brand!

I was told by several friends who are in trucks that are very loud and they recommend this product! It reads my texts to me and e-mails so i do not have to be distracted at all. Technology at its ultimate!

Have had these 5 months. Almost immediately it would drop calls randomly when I had full service. Then started running where I could only hear people on the other end of the line but they couldn’t hear me. Will go a few days working fine then all of a sudden not work consistently at all. I want my 450 back
