I bought this unit because I wanted a dependable system without a long contract that would have us paying $45 per month to ADT. Just wanted a deterrent and to be notified if there was ever a break in. The instruction manual was incredibly simple to understand so everything went like a charm. Took a few hours setting it up and putting each door, window and sensor where I felt it was needed to be placed. I tried many times, I found that the buttons on the main alarm panel are problematic, sometime pressing a button does nothing, sometime it registers multiple presses, spoiling the programming or password entry I am trying to enter. So I need reset again many times. The keypad has an on/off switch that I should be choose to hide the system. Otherwise all intruder can to do it to turn it off that no code needed. The adhesive backs don’t seem to be strong enough to hold them up. So I changed them and used 3M. I have not had other issues with them so far.

Wanted a home alarm after recent developments in the neighborhood, and saw this on amazon for a decent price. Had everything I wanted. Two motion sensors along with 10 window/door sensors, 4 keychain remotes, and siren. I haven't gone through all the features yet, as I only want an alarm to sound, but this works perfectly. Let me say first, the siren will probably cause hearing loss, if your not careful and the alarm goes off and you cant disarm quickly. Everything works as advertised. Plus all sensors come with batteries, which was a surprise. For the price, its a great package. I can feel better at night knowing an alarm will sound if an intruder enters the house while I'm sleeping. Also when not home the alarm will most certainly cause an intruder/burglar to not stay long.

I'm pretty happy with this security system. It does the job I needed and at a pretty low price point. There is a slight learning curve when setting up all it's features, since the instruction booklet is semi-cryptic. Once you have it figured out, it's quite easy though. The GSM feature works just fine and send me text messages about it being armed, disarmed, or which particular alarm is going off. The console has a built in alarm speaker, which is fairly loud, but once you hook up the external alarm, stand back, this thing is very loud! I think gunfire might be a tad quieter than this thing when it's screaching. I needed more window/door sensors than this came with, but those are available on Amazon as well. The motion sensors are pretty sensitive. I could not find a way to get past them without setting them off. Granted it's not a contracted securtiy monitoring system and no it doesn't work with security cameras, but for the money it cost, I'm quite pleased. Time will tell how long it will work, perhaps I'll revise this later if things malfunction.UPDATE: 7 months into installation and when doing my monthly test of the alarms I noticed that the alarm is not sending a text message anymore to my phone. I tried everything in the manual to reset it, but nothing works. I'll assume that transmit function on the main alarm part has broken somehow. I get the GSM card in stalled and signal strength icons on the screen, but it simply won't transmit. Sim card is active and was working prior, made sure it's actually set to "1" to transit, etc. just nothing is sending and alarm. I wrote the company to inquire and just got a regurgitated copay and paste of the manual. Well that was unhelpful. I was hoping they would just send me a new unit to try out, but nope. So I'm dropping it from 5 stars to 3 for crappy customer service.

We moved in a new neighborhood which we are not quite sure about the environment around. So we brought this security system. Over 90% of broglers will immediately run away if they entered a home which have security systems. So far we feel more secured after set it up. Only two little problem, 1: I feel kind of disappointed about it required to use a SIM card if you want use all the functions. 2: The setup is really confused at beginning. The instruction book is not so helpful. But fortunately, I emailed their tech support, and got replied within 24 hours. Which is really helpful. Pretty good customer service support! Overall, So far so good. Maybe we'll buy another one for our parents' home.

At first I was happy with this alarm system. Over the last few months three of the sensors have somehow malfunctioned, setting off the alarm for no reason. This has happened multiple times in the middle of the night and during the day. I will be discarding this alarm system and purchasing a more reliable option.

I’ve use the security company’s alarm service for three years. I paid 30 dollar every month. There was a problem with alarm system last month. They came to fix it and charged me 300 dollar for it. It’s cost too much to use it. I bought Thustar home alarms system instead. I’ve been use it for almost a month. Everything works great. It come with 2 motion/PIR sensors,10 window/door sensor,4 keychain remote and siren. It’s easy to install and easy to use. I love it has the GSM feature . If someone breaks into my home when I’m not at home. It will let me know. The siren is loud enough . Everything as website describes. It does everything as security company’s system can do. Love it.

This equipment was purchased to replace the security company's system. Door alarms are very easy to install and install. The alarm is loud. The system is easy to set up and install, just follow the instructions. Just like the part of the phone number that is called when the alarm is activated during an alarm. You must insert an alarm to make any noise. It would be nice to have more options in the system, such as not having to always insert an alarm or be able to set the alarm open time range. But for the price, this system is good. It is much cheaper than the security company's more than 100 dollars per month. The function is similar!

This was a piece of junk, don't waste your time. It is dollar store quality and we returned it immediately.
