Motion ProGasket Scraper 08-0601

I've used it a few times to scrape the rtv off some aluminum around the valve covers on a 3.6l pentastar. It works awesome. It's small so it fits easily into some odd places. I have the traditional scrapers a few of the new carbide kind, but this may be my new favorite for engine work.

Works great! I only use the brass scraper head since I only work on lawn equipment and everything is aluminum. I was hesitant to purchase this because of the price but after using it the first time I knew it was money well spent. The shape and weight of the scraper feels comfortable in my hand and is easy to control. It comes with storage tube and a steel blade for harder surfaces.

Holy cow, how did I go all these years without this tool? Saved busted knuckles and arthritis! Comes with a spare bit too. Wish I'd bought one years ago. Way easier than razor blades.

Great scraper. Comes with multiple tips but just a little dinky tube to carry the tool in. If it came with a better storage case, it would be perfect!

Works great. Just get the angle right. Be careful not to slip and cut yourself as the blades are very sharp.

I've had to struggle in the past to do head gaskets, this made things super easy, even with the head gasket blown and melted.

Work great for cleaning old gaskets off aluminum side covers and heads without scratching.
