Best available Bowie Knife
D2 steel is the best available stainless steel for knives, that is very hard, and holds an edge. This knife is a hefty 2 lbs, with a 7/32 inch thick blade, and full tang. The sharp part of the blade is 9.5 inches, but 10.25" total; with the entire knife measuring 15 3/8". The knife arrives very sharp. The knife is handmade, and fits my size 8, large hand well. The Stag handle scales are classic, masculine, and very handsome. The sheath is a thick quality leather, with double stitching, with a perfectly placed cross strap, and a large belt loop. The knife fits the sheath snugly, but is easily removed with one hand, as the strap is unsnapped with the index finger. You will probably never need, or want another Bowie knife in your life.- from a hunting knife junkie.

It's a keeper
Well, after seeing these five star reviews, I feel a little bad to only rate this a 4.I got this knife yesterday and it's much different than described by the vendor.First off, I like the knife and plan on keeping it..But here are some discrepancies; The blade was advertised as being 7.75" long and 1/8" thick, it's actually 10.25" long and .25" thick All of which I'm happy about. It appears to be well made but there's a lot of rough edges on the spine and the hand guard. Not particularly found of the tube rivets/ pins in the handle. But the knife cuts, chops, slices etc very well and came semi- razor sharp. Gonna keep it ,do some modifying/ customizing etc. and make it my own. Definitely hand made.

Big, Bad, and Beautiful.
This knife is exactly what I was looking for. Hi quality, full range, beautiful stag handle and big! Not one of those mambey pambey little knifes claiming to be a Bowie knife.A little pricey, but you get the quality you pay for. If I see another design I like I would not hesitate to buy it.

Quality product
My first concern was that I spent $188 with tax on a knife that was shipped USPS which is about as reliable as sending it pony express so I would encourage the manufacturer to just these UPS or FedEx.With that said, it is as the manufacture describes and I am happy with the product. There are some rough edges that need to be taken off and it does not arrive razor sharp but I can sharpen it and finish off the burners and rough edges.Would I recommend this knife...Definitely!A 10 inch blade is hard to come by and for the price you can’t beat it.

A FEW ISSUES
I'VE BEEN HOLDING OFF REVIEW OF THIS KNIFE, I'VE HAD IT A COUPLE MONTHS. MINE HAD A VERY LARGE BURR ON THE EDGE OF THE BLADE WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHARP, WORK AS MUCH AS A FEW HOURS PER DAY FOR A FEW WEEKS, I GAVE UP. I FOUND SOME SMALL SCRATCHES THAT SEEMED TO BE MULTIPLYING AS I WAS WORKING ON THE KNIFE EDGE AND THESE WERE NEAR THE TOP OF THE BLADE AWAY FROM WHERE I WAS WORKING ? SEEMS THE SNAP CLOSURE IN THE SHEATH WAS SCRATCHING THE BLADE GOING IN AND COMING OUT OF THE SHEATH, I GLUED A SMALL HORSE SHOE SHAPED BIT OF LEATHER OVER THE SNAP. THAT TOOK CARE OF THAT HAPPENING FURTHER. I KNOW A KNIFE MAKER, TALKED TO HIM, ONCE HE SAW THE KNIFE, HE COULD MAKE ONE OUT OF 1095 FOR ABOUT $350-450. I ASKED HIM TO TOUCH UP THIS ONE AND TURN IT INTO ONE OF HIS FLYING PAPER SLICERS AND FIX THE AREAS WHERE THE MACHINIST MET HIS MACHINE LINES BUT NOT REAL WELL. WHEN I GET IT BACK I WILL POST PHOTOS FOR YOU ALL.
